So, as my daughter and I were getting in the car to retrieve our pre-ordered subs at Publix, she said,* “…uh, Dad, we better go to the other Publix* (we have 4 within 8 miles), my friend just texted that there’s an active shooting going on at the Sawgrass store.”
BTW, Publix makes superb subs. I always order their Italian hoagie when it goes on sale.
And for those of you as ignorant of geography as I am this is 25 miles from Jacksonville, Florida.
25 miles from downtown Jax, but only a few miles south of Jacksonville Beach. I used to work at TPC in Sawgrass.
