The Breakthrough Prize Awards Show on the Science Channel last night.
I sort of watched this (I was multi-tasking) last night. It wasn’t the glitz and glamour of the grammies or the oscars, but at least they were celebrating the accomplishments of scientists instead of entertainers and athletes for a change.
It’s a start and it was a show about science on the Science Channel. Hey, the History Channel was showing some dufus walking through the desert complaining about being thirsty (Pawn Stars, I think).
