I had my room plastered with posters of him when I was in the 7th grade, and even liked Rock of Love. This makes me very sad.
I really hope this turns out okay. He’s a big crush from my young days, and he’s turned out kinda cool. I can only think this must be related, somehow, to his recent appendix operation…

Add me to the list of the saddened. I didn’t have a crush on him of any kind, but I always liked Poison, and he seems a really cool guy. I hope he has a full recovery.
This is really terrible news and I hope he pulls through. I’ve never been a fan of Poison, but Bret Michaels is my favorite reality show personality and I really like the guy 
I also had a big crush on him, though it was tempered when a groupie friend of mine told me some intimate details about him. Speedy recovery!

I confess to being a VH-1 reality show junkie and being more familiar with his reality-show self than I’d care to admit. But, he is a really charming guy and seems very kind–a bit icky when it comes to women and perhaps subconsciously misogynistic, but definitely a likeable guy. I wish him a speedy and complete recovery. His family (he has two young daughters) are in my thoughts as well.
Wow… he’s been having a hell of a time health-wise recently. Hopefully he’ll put through this as well…

Having watched Celebrity Apprentice with him, he does seem like a decent guy. I hope he’s OK.
My wishes for his recovery, although I’m afraid this is a serious condition and the outcome isn’t always a good one.
Not meant to be disrespectful, but I’ve had experience with a family member suffering from a brain hemorrhage. I do hope Bret beats the odds.
Poison was always the bane of my existence, but I’ve gotta admit that I never had a problem with the members of the band, especially after their Behind the Music interviews and such. All of them, especially Bret, came across as fun-loving guys who never took themselves too seriously and managed to stay clean & sober (well…relatively speaking.)
I wish all the best for Bret and his family and I hope he does pull through.
I had the opportunity to talk with him a few years back. Hell of a nice a guy, good sense of humor.
They were just talking about him on my local radio station, and said that he is expected to make a full recovery.

The key thing is he at least got himself to a hospital and got himself checked in quickly.
