Bricker the troll

True. Could be his primary motivation is to avoid admitting he’s been such a tool.

Given how often the issues you raise and the positions you take match up with the latest glurge making its way around the wingnutosphere, and give the total crap you often provide in the way of cites, that’s a rather odd accusation for you to make, Sam.

But whatever.

Generally, when I am “amused”, I don’t jump up and down and scream myself hoarse. But maybe that’s just me…

When I’m amused, I don’t make up crap like “Doctors in Canada are not free to chose their own patients”, and then completely ignore cites to the contrary. Right Sam?

btw, Boyo Jim nailed it.

i miss the days when not even the pit was an appropriate place for troll accusations.

Oh. So you’re a troll. Glad we cleared that up.

My gosh, you people are hysterical! Text that says a director of ACORN is a director of ACORN doesn’t say what it claims. Voter fraud isn’t fraud. Text that I quote from a cite isn’t in the cite. I am lying when I say that Snowboarder Bo characterized posts from Sam Stone as lies when he says

even if he links to them.

The Usual Suspects are second only to creationists in their ability to stand on their hind legs, look a documented fact in the eye, and claim “that never happened”.

All the while claiming they are the party of reality. Reality in the ninth dimension of the planet Zork, maybe.

Shodan

Oh great, another anti-Zorkist. Just what we need around here.

I am perfectly willing to accept as fact the premise that Shodan has the most expertise of any of us regarding the 9th dimension of Zork.

He wasn’t a director of ACORN.

There have been no allegations of voter fraud against anyone in ACORN.

Why does anyone even bother trying to talk to Shodan? Seriously, he has so little regard for actual facts that there’s no point in discussing reality with him. Better to just laugh in his face.

We are moonbats. We believe that even a fool can be educated, that even the worst of us can be raised up, that reason and justice will, finally, prevail. And every once in a while, we win one.

At the very least, we *may *help dissuade other readers who might be inclined to think that a lack of response to Shodan’s crap means there is no response.

The Fight Against Ignorance, you may have heard of it.

There’s fighting ignorance, and then there’s slowdancing with it while banging your head against a brick wall. But yeah, you have a point.

Trying to dispute people like Shodan is still an ugly, frustrating game of whack-a-mole, however.

An important issue, to be sure, but not nearly so crucial as the struggle against cognitive dissonance, the number one threat to the Republic!

I dunno 'bout dat anymore. The intent eagerness to dismiss facts and cling to fantasies and fabrications, that we see all too often now, goes beyond the mere confusion and gullibility we used to credit such people with. Now it all too often starts to fit clinical definitions of psychological disorders. And it’s a lot scarier.

 This takes the pot-kettle thing to the next level: It is like one cast-iron cooking vessel actually struggling to somehow use its own blackness as an argument for the other’s.

It does help if the cited source is actually a decent cite. Just for fun, I clicked on one of the ‘cites’ in Sam’s post that Snowboarder Bo linked to. It was a site called the American Thinker that was basically “far left base” this and “pandering to the feminists” that.

Not exactly a reliable source of ‘facts.’ Yeah, I’ll spit in the eye of ‘documentation’ like that, and so should you.

No, it doesn’t, actually.

Currently, Oceania is at war with Eastasia. It doesn’t matter how many cites one can come up with that show that yesterday it was Eurasia.

Shodan
