Bringing up Baby - at long last

I’ve heard that BRINGING UP BABY is, at last, being released on DVD, approx March 1. Anyone able to confirm? A commentary track by Peter Bogdonovich…

Really? Well, I just TURNED GAY ALL OF A SUDDEN!!

And I’m just waiting for a bus on 42nd Street.*

But there is a leopard on your roof and it’s my leopard and I have to get it and to get it I have to sing.

*Which says the same thing as Ilsa’s quote.

DAMN DAMN DAMN! Don’t you just hate it when other posters are cleverer (word?) or faster than you? I opened this thread just to make an ever so witty reply like “DVD to be released on March 1st, and in other news, I just turned gay all of a sudden,” only to find that SDMB posters think alike.

I look forward to adding it to my DVD library.

All of a sudden? That’s Mr. Ilsa, right?

Great news. I don’t buy that many DVDs, but I’ll definitely pick this up (maybe they’ll double it up with His Girl Friday, which I still haven’t bought yet either).

Oh, shut up, you mock turtle!

I have a DVD version of “His Girl Friday” already but think that it may be pirated. I haven’t bothered to watchi it yet, but the packaging is pretty poor.

“You look just like that actor…you know, what’s his name…Ralph Bellamy.”

The last man that said that to me was Archie Leach just a week before he cut his throat.

(As he goes for the trifecta.)

Katy Hepburn: “I was born on the side of a hill. I was born on the side of a hill.”

Whatever this DVD costs, it’s worth it just for the above priceless moment. Watching that entire scene, it’s easy to believe that both Grant and Hepburn were having the time of their lives, and finding it very hard to stay in character.

RealityChuck, you’re wonderful, in a loathsome sort of way.
