I’ve heard this book is going to be the Harry Potter for the Christian Fantasy Fiction set. God vs. Satan and dark stuff.

I’ve heard the buzz on this book since it was released in the UK and now it is hitting my local library, which I have just ordered. I avoid Christian based writing because it just does not appeal to me and my roguish ways. ( Ok, the story lines are lame, the characters are lame and there is too much God-Stuff. 12 years of Catholic School swirling down the toilet.)

Any thoughts on it.

A co-worker who is kinda Christo-Wiccan was reading it & she thought it was pretty good. Apparently the Anglican vicar who wrote it had in his youth had occult dalliances, is somewhat evangelical by Anglican standards but is not a Fundy or anti-Potter.
