I am visiting Seattle soon and was hoping that somebody would know of any shops that carry British food there. I am looking for “junk food” in particular, chocolate bars, crisps, condiments, etc. I am also searching for a store that carries British teas (particularly St. Michael’s brand teas - that’s the “house brand” for Marks and Spencer). I was devastated to find that the Real Canadian Superstore no longer carried the St. Michael’s teas!
Anglomania, located in Gilman Village in Issaquah, has a large selection of British goodies. It’s about 10 miles east of Seattle on I-90.
Your location has you in British Columbia, in which case you don’t need to go as far as Seattle. Try Steveston. I can’t remember the name of the shop, but it is something obvious like “The British Shop” and located on a corner of the main street in to it. They have the type of stuff that you are looking for, plus proper pork pies, sausage rolls and English cheeses, amongst other things.
Thanks racer72, I’ll check it out.
Thanks amarone, I have been to the store in Steveston, it’s a great place. I wasn’t going to Seattle specifically for British goodies. I’m going to visit my cousin, and thought I would check out British stores while I’m there.
