I’ve watched this show here in the states on BBCAmerica and I have to say, these motorists complaining are freakin right! Parking laws there are a form of Government extortion.
Almost every time, the cars being clamped are not parked dangerously! The no-parking zones are not placed with any regard to safety. They are placed in areas that are prone to catch people who have no place else to park and therefore are a guaranteed source of revenue.
You guys need a 2nd amendment. Make those facist clampers dance!!

Parking is horrendously difficult to find and very expensive, but the underground railway is a more than adequate alternative.
Issuing parking tickets is a failure since there are so many vehicles carrying diplmatic status who simply flout the law, its a serious problem.
I have seen streets clogged up completely with cars trying to get past one vehicle parked illegally by an inconsiderate driver, I even have to get off my bicycle and walk around. Sometimes they park on the sidewalk and make it difficult for pedestrians and impossible for the wheelchair bound or prams.
If an area is left alone by the traffic wardens it is not long before another car parks near the first illegally parked one, then another and so on.
Some practices are a disgrace and I have seen posters complaining about the same things, like using open lots with a couple of parked cars as ‘stool pigeons’ to tempt other unaware drivers in.
I’ve only visited London in passing through the place and the traffic is one reason why I wouldn’t consider living there.
