Brower question - Why do they "go big" and how do you fix it?

I use Firefox and Chrome and on separate days they both expanded larger than than can fit my monitor.

I cannot find a resolution setting or “zoom in” setting that fixes this problem in either. IE looks good so it cannot be Windows.

What happened? This has to be a common problem yet Google was no help.
Thanks.

Did you hold down the “control” button while scrolling?

I’m not completely sure what you are describing, so sorry if this doesnt help.

But you may have just zoomed in. Happens to me when i hold control and scroll the mouse wheel.

Just hold down the control key and try scrolling the mouse wheel up and down.

If you have done what **Czarcasm **mentions above, pressing Ctrl+0 (zero) together on your keyboard will set everything back to the default zoom level. This works in Chrome, Firefox and IE.

To both - the text went back but not the graphics. Still HUGE pages that don’t fit but with normal text.

Thanks - did not know about scroll button but still not a fix.

Ctrl+ and Ctrl- (control plus and control minus) both do the same as control+scroll. I.e., zoom.

Perhaps, however, your browser became fullscreen and you can’t turn it off? If so, F11 is the button to toggle fullscreen in firefox. It’s probably the same in other browsers.

Just reduced text - not graphics. (helpful later). Thanks.

Dammit!
