Ok. There was an internet meme floating about recently, dealing with a picture captioned “Every time you masterbate, God kills a kitten.”

In this picture, there is a little grey kitten and it looks like it’s being chased by this boxy brown… thing … with arms, legs and a face. What is that brown thing supposed to be?

I think it may be a pop culture thing in Japan because I’ve seen it on banner ads to Japanese pop culture merchandise sites, but those sites are in Japanese, and not knowing the name of the thing in either English or Japanese makes it heard to search for.

I’ve also seen variations on the picture, including “God Kills a Star Wars Fan”. Is there some website that’s collected all the diferent versions of this?

Domo-kun. He’s the mascot of the NHK television station in Japan. I’ve heard he’s supposed to be a dinosaur.

I’m not aware of one. You could try hanging around FARK and checking out the photoshop threads. Invariably Domo will show up in something, but not always a “every time you masturbate” image.
