You’re being sarcastic right?
AFAIK, the corrupt system that put him in place is still chugging right along.

Leaving a Brown-shaped splat in the road.
And Bush said he didn’t know anything about it. Feh. Fuckin’ liar.
No it’s not. It’s been totally reformed. Why do you hate Freedom[TM]?
They do this everywhere they go.

Yup. Totally on top of things, as usual.
Balls. Fixed link.

Just proof it’s all the Democrats’ fault. If they’d just fillibustered on his nomination none of this would have happened!
If John Kerry hadn’t been away so often during his laughable “Campaign” he could have stopped it. But instead all he cared about was trying to get the Most Liberal Senator In The USA into the white house.

It’s on CNN and this fool doesn’t know? Yeah…sure. This is precisely what bothers me about him. Why doesn’t he offer up a “no comment”, instead of lying?
Because “no comment” is what sleazy politicians say when they’re guilty as hell.
Working hard is what a brush-clearing True 'Merican does.
Oh, and to quote myself from earlier in the thread. Bolding added because I’m just that cool:
That’s at least as good as Miss Cleo’s prognostication abilities. Lottery numbers available on request.
-Joe, once again proving that cynicism regarding crony capitalism is as good as having a Delorean with a flux capacitor
At this point, I don’t find that idea nearly as implausible as it ought to be.
Another gem today:
Correct me if I’m wrong, but Katrina hit at 6:00am central time, right? And the talk he’s referring to is the one on Medicare (at 11:00am), in which he mentioned the hurricane in passing? Where he said the Federal government would be on top of things after the storm, and called for prayer in the meantime?
He “knew that a big storm was coming” when parts of New Orleans were already under twelve feet of water?
Nor do I. Like Iraq, he’s other a liar or a uninformed moron. I could care less either way, under both, this country loses.
He should say my band’s CD will make them safer too.
Throw the case at the floor, and pick up one of the plastic shards. Instant shiv defense from an attacking terrorist!
You know, I was leaning towards option A, but recent events have pushed me more towards option B. Not that A and B are mutually exclusive…
If only Brown had enough honor to commit seppuku.
President Bush actually said “Maybe you know something I don’t know?”
And no one took advantage of the best straight line in the the history of modern politics?
Gee, Mr. President, I could draw up a list of all the things I know that you don’t, but by the time I’m done, I’ll be 700 years old.
Maybe I do, maybe I don’t. It’s going to cost you big money to find out one way or the other.
Something? Try everything.
Probably. For instance, did you know that the word “gullible” is not in the dictionary?
Insert your own here.

ahem. I’ve always wanted to do that.
Maybe this is the thing that finally bites Bush in the ass. Despite the arch conservativism, folks in the South do tend to have the mentality that the government will take care of them in time of need. The Democratic Party had the South far longer than it otherwise would have because of things like rural electrification and TVA. Loyalty. Something like this could send some Gulf South voters back to the Democratic Party for years.
“Hmmm. Had to send son body armor in Iraq, have to sit on my roof in rising floodwater for days before anything happens…just what exactly do these Republicans do for me”
