BSG returns, watch any supplements first?

Okay BSG is finally coming back soon. Yah!

All I seen so far are the main episodes from the series.

I understand there is other stuff on the net.

Should I search that out and watch it before the series returns? It is important or just so so bonus material?

And where would that be, if anyboyd knows off hand and could kindly point me in the right direction.

According to my husband, who has watched the “webisodes”, there is important information there for a fan. Things like what is was that Baltar whispered to Gaeta that made him flip out are revealed. Probably not vital viewing, but not entirely filler fluff, either.

I second the suggestion of watching the webisodes. They are, or at least were recently, hosted on Scifi.com. Probably still there. You can watch the regular webisodes, or an enhanced version with comments from the writer.
