What did you think of Buddy’s temper tantrum after the cake challenge judging?
So are we supposed to guess at which TV show you’re talking about?
Buddy Vs. Duff is the name of the show.
OK, thanks for that. Clearly I don’t watch enough Food Network.
I always wonder just how real any reality show is. Buddy did seem legitimately PO’d but who knows. I assume this show will follow the standard template, keeping it mostly even for the duration of the competition. I wouldn’t even be surprised if the series ended in a tie.
Anyway, I understood the judges’ comments but the cracks in Duff’s fondant and the fact that his hydraulics didn’t work should’ve kept him from a win.
Buddy’s fondant had imperfections as well. Buddy’s cake was HUGE but size was not one of the judging criteria. Duff’s cake had more attention to detail which I think put him over the top.
Either way, at the end of the show (give the baking challenge and the decorating challenge), the score is tied.
I thought this thread was going to be some kind of beer preference survey. What a disappointment.
This show is a bad idea. I don’t think it will help either one’s brand. A one time competition might have made more sense with the option for rematches. I also disagree with having only one judge. I think they both came off worse than before.
Is there going to be only the one judge throughout or will there be different judges with each competition?
It seems to me that Sherry Yard is the only judge.
I’ve never heard of the show, but from the thread title I thought this was going to be a contest between two fictional beers.
I thought it was a hypothetical cage match between Buddy the Elf and Duffman. Seriously.
