Buffy 5/7

The ending,.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I figure Buffy won’t die, but they just put Tara in the opening credits! I was so happy! They were just teasing us! My life is pain!

And the preview for next week…

Wahhhhhhhhh

I haven’t watched since the first UPN episode, and I tune in tonight for this!!!

Yeah, and one more thing:

[sub]What can I say but[/sub]

Yikes!

Next week looks like it’ll be one heck of a show. I can’t wait for Willow to go postal on Warren. I’ve been real disappointed thus far with the season, but it sure is looking up. I wonder what will happen with Spike?

I’m guessing Spike is going to try and get the chip out, come back on a rampage and try and kill Buffy, and end getting staked by her. Just my WAG.

Also, maybe a Buffy and Xander romance?

No way Buffy and Xander… he’d turn her down. Hopefully the same way she turned him down in Season 1, except Buffy won’t do it anyway, so damn it.

But yea! Can’t wait to see Willow go fucking ballistic.

Tara… gone for good…? I mean, sooner or later a major character is gonna have to die. They can’t just keep bringing everyone back… :frowning: :frowning:

But but but but but but…

I WANT TARA.

“Crush his orbs.”

He helped Buffy out and she still turned him in. There’s just no justice in the world.

Couldn’t Anya die instead? She’s much more annoying than Tara and less useful. I’m really looking forward to seeing Willow go all bad-ass, but I don’t want Tara to die (lower lip trembles) :frowning:

Also, Spike can die any old time. Kill him, stake him, I don’t care. He just lost any claims he might ever have had on my sympathies.

Spike’s probably gone until next year. Warren is going to die painfully. And the ending felt awfully tacked on to me.

“Your shirt…” :(:frowning:

Damn:(

My fucking God.

Ok. Gaining coherence.

The police would collect Jonathen with or without Buffy’s comments I think. I hope she helps him get out latter on. I think Buffy knows his loyality doesn’t lie with Warren and his insane agenda.

As for the ending I think it needed to be that way. First they make people think that the rumours aren’t entirely true. Everything is on an upswing. Then Warren arrives and fires some randomish shots like a putz. At first just Buffy goes down and you think. Ok this is the source of the rumours and so on. Then, the shirt thing.

Willow’s revenge is going to be extreme and great to watch.

As for Spike I think this helps clear somethings up. He had a chance to redeem, was sickened by that potential and decided to “better” himself. Fuck him. Let him go down hard.

Amazing episode over all.

I gotta disagree with the first part – she could have easily let him go or said, “This guy was with me.” After all, she got away, didn’t she? I wouldn’t mind at all if Jonathan turns into next season’s Big Bad, preferably by infiltrating the Scooby gang and buddying up all season before revealing his Fiendish Plan. And he wraps it up with, “You let them ARREST me after I SAVED you, you bitch!”

**

You know, I try to keep my politics out of my entertainment, but this was a little much for me. I’ve tolerated the show’s “Guns are bad” stance for so long now that it’s practically second nature. And then what do they do? Warren, who is, despite his doofdom, an intelligent person, gets a gun in his hand and turns into a complete moron. “I’m gonna just walk into the Slayer’s yard, rant at her and then fire a bunch of random shots while running away.” ARGH.

I agree it was a stupid thing for him to do. But this entire episode showed he was seriously unbalanced. Not just moderately unbalanced as was clear from before, but totally batshit. He may not even have a back up plan to protect himslf from the cops. He gets easily overconfident with the magic and science at his disposal and clearly has no regard for normal people.

As for the police part your interpretation may be right. I kinda wish they showed us what was going on. I assume that they arested the two people dressed for a crime that were near eachother and left the random girl alone. I don’t think that Buffy would just toss him to the police. It is hard to guess about the police of Sunnydale are going to do, as they were set up to be barely able to do their job.

Spike doesn’t need to get the chip out to kill Buffy. It doesn’t work against her anymore.

RIGHT!

Mauv, I was totally wondering how he could hurt her (in the almost-rape scene). I am so absent-minded.

Yeah, I forgot that too. Maybe he’ll get the chip removed, Try to make Buffy go insane by harming everyone she loves one by one, especially Dawn, have one final confrontation and get staked by her.

I really did not get any sense of Warren being any crazier than usual from this ep. What did he do this time that was any worse than before? He manipulated Jonathan (done before), he used a device to get power (done before), he immediately used it to impress a chick in a bar (done before), he committed a cheesy robbery (done before), he tried to kill the Slayer (done before), and he left the other two in the lurch. Near as I can figure, that’s the only thing he did that was any crazier than he’s been all season, and I may only be forgetting an earlier time that he did that.
And then he gets a gun in his hand and it’s not only batshit crazy but batshit stupid. Thanks, Hollywood.
