Minor nitpick, being buried alive was Buffy’s biggest fear, her being a vamp was Giles’s biggest fear.
There are numerous stories from the early seasons to revisit. Faith is still alive as is Mr. Trick and Dru.
If they do “return to year one” as many have said, I will be very dissapointed, as I think the “adulthood is scary” theme they’ve been expolring this past season is not without merit.
Minor nitpick of minor nitpick: Buffy’s fear was being buried alive. Giles’ fear was that buffy would be killed. Buffy’s other fear was becoming a vampire.
No…the buffybot would find out that ** Buffy** is better liked and has had a fling with Spike. I guess I could worded it better or something, but I thought it was clear enough.
I’m sorry. You all can make all the predictions you like (and it’s not like I’m being forced to read this thread or reply to it)…
I couldn’t care less what they do with Season 7. They’ve killed off one of my favorite characters in one of the lamest ways possible (a stray bullet? Gee, why not a sudden bout of cancer?) and distorted the other character almost beyond recognition by having her “go over the edge with grief”, making her an insane, sadistic murderer who doesn’t care that she’s hurting her friends.
Yeah, I’m so looking forward to next season. And to think, this used to be my favorite show…
Twisted the character beyond recognition? We know she was willing to mess with a god to restore her woman. We also had the build-up of her going a little bonkers from the power to begin with. Add to that achieving such a huge level of power, and I could see it. After all, absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Still, Tara’s death should have at least been deliberate on the part of a cast member. Though I doubt that would actually make anyone happy.
Willow will undergo a trial by more powerful blessed-be’s–or those as powerful as her–and it certainly won’t be an ordinary one. One begets three–ouch.
Spike comes back as William, still conflicted as ever.
Buffy figured out that she was indeed a switched from a parallel world, as was teased from “Normal Again”.
Xander gets off his duff, gets buff, gets his head filled with stuff, and everyone else will have enough.
Dawn will become really bigger than Buffy. A little too big. All-around, of course.
Anya tries, but can’t make it as a vengeance demon.
Jonathan will be back, ironically to add to the coolness factor to the show. But not before tossing that trucker’s salad (I can’t believe Dawn said that.)
