According to press reports the BBC has hired one of Buffy’s scriptwriters to create a new 22-episode series of Doctor Who for the UK and international market. The same reports are claiming that the new Doctor is likely to be played by Anthony Stewart Head, aka Giles from Buffy (and the Nescafe ads).
I think he’d make a terrific Doctor.

Which is a real shame 'cos I think they could’ve done good things with it. Maybe we should start a petition or something …

I’ve always thought the Dr Who theme jollied along quite nicely as well. Love a really pumping version of that.
Actually, I quite liked what Moby did with the James Bond theme. Wonder if he might be up for it…?
