Bumper stickers. Where are they?

Just noticed an election phenomenon that I’ve never seen before. I live in the great Pacific Northwest, a region noted for being very liberal, at least as far as elections are concerned. (I don’t think we’ve elected a Republican governor here in thirty years.)

My question; where are the bumper stickers? I really started watching this morning during my commute (35 miles on I-5) and did not see one sticker for any candidate. Weird.

Probably says a lot about the popularity of either major candidate. With less than 24 hours to go until voting starts.

And as an aside, there seem to be no signs, either on private or public for either Hillary or The Donald. Feels very strange.

You’l find them here. Or not.

On my 110-mile commute on the 5, I see bumper stickers from both candidates.

As for signs, I have been seeing Trump supporters holding them up on overpasses. Up in Birch Bay and Custer, I have yet to see a Clinton sign, but I see lots of Trump signs.

Very few if any seen along my 40 mile commute along the I-95 corridor in the mid-atlantic. I guess you could say “make no butts about this election”!

I don’t see the upside of political or religious bumper stickers. There’s a chance of getting your car keyed. Maybe people get a warm fuzzy feeling about advertising their beliefs in public, but I don’t.

In NC I have seen remarkably few bumper stickers compared to previous election cycles.

I’ve seen more Giant Meteor 2016 stickers than ones proclaiming for a candidate.

Related: I live in a red upper middle class subdivision in a red county in a red state. I have walked pretty much the whole subdivision the last few days and there is not a single yard sign. We normally have plenty (running at least 10:1 Rep : Dem). In the primaries they were mostly for Cruz.

In Indiana I see a lot of Trump yard signs and a few Trump bumper stickers. I’d do a Hillary sticker or yard sign but I’m too afraid of getting my car or house vandalized or repercussions at my job if I had a sticker on my car.

Didn’t care to have my car or yard vandalized. Doesn’t mean I’m unhappy with my candidate.

I have seen a few Trump stickers. I don’t put stickers on cars myself, ever since someone peeled off my Dodgers bumpersticker. Heathen.

I would have put up a Clinton yard sign, but my husband was afraid we’d get egged or something.

I have only seen a few bumper stickers in my city and not many yard signs this election . I did the last election , I really think people are only voting to stop the other guy and not b/c they love the candidate they did vote for. I been seeing this on TV and with people I been talking to. There is no one to really be excited about this election . Damn I wish there was way to keep Nov 8 from happening !

My various Cthulhu for President bumper stickers have been on prominent display for months.

it’s really shitty that people have to worry about vandalism if they put up a yard sign or a bumper sticker.

I have a Hillary bumper sticker taped to the inside of my car window. I did that because I don’t intend for it to become a permanent part of my car. I have not seen a lot of bumper stickers though.

We’ve had two Hillary yard signs stolen; the third is ok, now that it’s not the only one around. Our neighborhood is heavily Democratic so no Trump signs whatsoever. But a little farther over, there’s a house with at least 30 Trump signs on the front lawn; a House of Deplorables.

You know, I never even noticed it until you pointed it out. I’m in the NW too, the Portland area and I can’t recall seeing a single bumper stick and VERY few politic signs in front yards. It’s kinda weird now that I’m noticing it. What I have noticed is we’re getting 3-5 calls a DAY from different political pollsters. Way more than I can ever remember.

NE Ohio here. I’d say I’ve been seeing about as many candidate bumper stickers this year as usual.

I read about (but didn’t see) a Neil deGrasse Tyson/Bill Nye 2016 bumper sticker in The Washington Post. It was in an article about write-in candidates and someone said he’d seen that sticker and was going to write them in.

I’ve noticed the same here in Alabama. There are still more cars with Obama stickers than Hillary or Trump stickers. I’ve seen a couple of anti-Hillary stickers though (Hillary for Prison or something similar).

As for lawn signs, wife reported seeing one Hillary sign, and I’ve seen a Johnson sign, but that’s about it.
