BK recently introduced http://money.cnn.com/2005/03/28/news/midcaps/burgerking_breakfast/.
I tried one (it was real bad) and am curious how BK cooks the eggs in the store. Unlike McDonald’s which at least seem to be scrambled, Bk’s are more like a omelet but without the taste.
Anyone know how the eggs are shipped to the store and then cooked once there?
At one point in time, the eggs were cooked on metal trays that they loaded into the broiler. No idea if that’s still the case or not.
The eggs are shipped frozen and I belive they are fully cooked (before they are frozen). I don’t know how they heat them up in the store though.
I used to work at BK.
The “egg” patties are shipped pre-cooked and are defrosted/heated in a warming over prior to serving. Whether or not these patties actually consist of eggs, as we understand the term, is open to debate.
Burger King’s eggs
Oat, you left yourself wide open on this. I choose to pass!
Not me:
They’re probably plastic like his face.
