Great Scott, no, not condescending at all - I took it in the spirit of kindness, which is, I am sure, what you meant. Had I been a complete internet noob, your advice would have been spot on. It was, anyway.
The thing is, as I said, every MB has its own culture. As a relative stranger (and no relatives here to guide me) I am happy as a clam to have a native take notice.
