I’ve always wanted to attend “Burning Man” but I could never swing it logistically…
So, what’s the scoop nowadays? Some people say stuff like, “Awww, it’s not what it used to be, they sold out… etc…” But then I come back with, “Yea maybe, but 30,000 people goofing off in the desert can’t be half bad…”

All I know about it is that in Stranger than Fiction, Chuck Palahniuk claims that a friend of his wears a wolf costume to Burning Man every year and fucks his brains out because “people view him as less than human.” So if you want to have a lot of wild sex, wear an animal costume.

Presumably, subsequent to him writing that, every second guy turns up in a wolf costume.
My husband went last year. He worked for the NV State Health Dept. and had to go. He sad it was hot, windy and dusty. He had to ride a bike around and wear a face mask to keep out the dust. When he got home he stll coughed for two days. There were many "nekkid’ people about, a 40 year old man died of a heart attack and there was a bad batch of acid going about. If that’s your scene…
FWIW he didn’t have to pay, and he wouldn’t go back even if it were free.
