Bush, Gore, Nader, Buchannan, someone else, or nobody or undecided.

Who do you plan on voting as of now. I don’t care why, just who. Who do you have your sights on. Just give a name.

Gore, but leaning toward Nader.

Harry Browne (Libertarian)

If so I withdraw my answer!

It’s like he doesn’t care at all.
Buchannan needs someone to take a few punches at him, and Nader is certainly able, but not willing.

Since neither can win, why should the bigot look like the the only “spoiler” that Gore and Bush have to comment on?
Why should Buchannan be allowed to frame the debate?

Harry Browne.

I’M going to vote for myself.

God, I love living in a democracy.

Everyone, Vote SPOOFE in '00!

Right now I’ll say Bush as the lesser of the two evils. But if he pisses me off more than I’m willing to put up with, I’ll go with Browne.

I won’t be voting (I’m not american) but I just have to say that if Bush gets elected, the american people should be declared unfit to rule ;).

Anyone but George Dubya Bush. Anyone. Living or dead.

You are correct, Bush is a moron. The only reason he has gotten as far as he has is because of his father. George Sr. knows his son is a moron and doesn’t expect much from him, George Jr knows he’s a moron and allows his underlings to run his business (both public and private). Only when unrealistic expectations are placed upon a moron (such as electing him president) AND the moron thinks he knows what he’s doing, will his true incompetence be revealed. If Bush gets elected his ego will swell to the point where his underlings won’t be able to control him anymore and he’ll make mistakes like no president before him.

Jesse ‘The Body’ Ventura in '00.

Oh, I’ll be voting for George W., no question.

But talk about your unscientific polls! Web sites are the one and only place where guys like Ralph Nader (is there a man with less charm, less warmth, less humanity, or less humor ANYWHERE in the world today?) and Harry Browne are widely viewed as viable candidates, rather than as bad jokes!

Louis B writes “anyone but George W bush, anyone, living or dead”. careful. We here in Michigan had a campaign “Anyone but Engler” a few years back and we ended up with Geoffry Fieger as the candidate.

but, in answer to the original question, today Gore. can’t stand thinking about what the supreme court would look like if dubba ya gets there…

Charm and warmth issues notwithstanding, he’s talking on issues both Gush and Bore skirt uneasily around and represents a real break leftwards from the Democrats. Finally!

Not that I expect him to win, or even be completely effective if he does. It’s just that being involved in his campaign really opens up discussion on the real issues people are concerned with and from that we can build stronger activism on the ground.

As for the Supreme Court argument, what happens in those hallowed halls can be greatly affected by what’s going on out in the streets. Remember, Roe v. Wade was won under Nixon, and a Court packed with his nominees.

I’ll second this.

Nader.

Finally, someone talking issues and taking stands. Not some wishy-washy, want-to-be-everything-to-everybody, poll-driven moron.

If I wanted charm and warmth, I’d write in Winnie-the-Pooh.

Gore. I threw away my vote on Dr. Barry Commoner in 1980 and was rewarded with 12 years of Reagan/Bush, so I’m never making the mistake of voting for anything but the Lesser of the Two Evils ever again.

I might write in David B.

I’ll be voting for George W. Bush.
Unless, of course, SPOOFE is willing to discuss tax cuts for people over 25 who make less than $35K a year. Then I may change my mind.
