Bush has finally gone too far.

The election-stealing, the lying, the warmongering, the assault on civil rights, the incompetence, the homophobic pandering and now this!

The arrogance of this motherfucker. He actually thinks he’s more important than AI. If I have to miss Movie Night with Quentin Tarrantino so that Smirky McFuckface can make his fucking chimp noises for 45 minutes I am going to be severely pissed off.

There is a sliver of hope that Fox may still show AI and run a crawl directing Bush toadies and masochists to FNC for the “press conference.” If that’s what they do then, fine. But if Fox decides that a campaign speech is more important than AI, then FUCK YOU FOX!

This is not a joke thread. I really am pissed about this.

Oh, man. Talk about choosing the lesser of two evils.

Eh. Don’t care.

However, if they pre-empt 24, then I’ll complain.

Damn it!

That fucknut’s messing with the president i wish were in charge of the country instead of a fictional version there of. Well, it looks like the schedule’s already adjusted or this wasn’t going to be a new episode week anyway.

Oh, holy crap. Dammit. Dammit dammit dammit. Fuck. Shit.

So that’s it - you’ve finally decided not to vote for him, eh?

Not yet, but I hear he’s considering a strongly worded letter to express his concern.

As long as he doesn’t mess up my Friday night date with Catherine Bell on JAG I won’t be mad at him.

Okay, I don’t get it. You’d rather really watch American Idol than G.W.B. address the brouhaha over the P.D.B.?

I don’t think that it’s just because I’d rather boil my head in pepper sauce than expose my eyes and ears to American Idol that I’m missing it. Shit, even if the conference were preempting something I gave a rat’s ass about, or even something that I held my breath in anticipation for each week, like The Sopranos, according to the linked article they’re just pushing it back 24 hours. No biggee.

What the fuck?

Now I actually have an excellent reason to vote for him!!

Hey, Hey, Hey, this is not “But if Fox decides that a campaign speech is more important than AI, then…”

Hey, Hey, Hey, this is not a campaign speech. This is the President addressing the nation on those “outlaws” that are being taken care of in Iraq. He is going to enlighten us on the whole situation in Iraq. And this time he will probably be telling us the truth, sort of.

You’re way out of line here.

It’s truly a sad day when you put Simon before a Presidential Election/possible answers to questions regarding our own national security.

People like that shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Grrr!

Given how many “favors” the Fox network has done for Bush, you’d think he’d be a little considerate and reschedule his press conference so that he wouldn’t torpedo their top-rated program. Some people just have no sense of gratitude…

Sorry to say it Dio, but I am happy to hear that AI might have to be postponed. I had to schedule an unavoidable appointment with a client on Tuesday evening. It should run until nine, just barely making sure I miss AI. Maybe this way I get a postponement, or even better that smug prick Brian Bolter won’t be junking up my 10:00 hour on the local Fox News.

WTF is the P.D.B?

I think he’s going to blather about his recent failures in Iraq, isn’t he? The thing is, Bush’s “press conferences” are really no such thing. They are tightly scripted and controlled so as to convey no information, accept no accountability, spew platitudes about fighting terrorism and allow the monkey to pat himself on the back. Also he lies through his teeth every time he steps up to a mike anyway, so why would I want to hear more of it?

If this “news” even actually had any legitimate content it might be worth bumping regular tv for. It does not. This is a way for the monkey to get on prime time for a while and stump for reelection. It is not truly newsworthy and whatever fragment of new information that might be yielded can be covered just fine by the news channels for anyone who actually gives a shit.

I’m not demanding that the press conference not be covered, but it doesn’t have to be covered by every fucking channel and it doesn’t have to preempt such quality fare as AI and 24.

I have to go to a fucking staff meeting on Wednesday night. I’ll miss it. And it’s not like missing a results show where you don’t really need to see it, it’s a performance show…with Quentin Tarrantino.

I don’t even have a VCR, so I can’t tape it. I’m fucked. Fucked by a monkey making monkey noises.
Fuck, I hate Bush.

Dio I always knew you were nuts but I at least gave you a little credit. Finding out that you watch American Idol is so disappointing!

The August 6, 2001 Presidential Daily Briefing that had as its title. “Bin Laden Detemined to Strike in U.S,” which the Pubbies swear had no relevance to 9/11.

So at least you’ll know which lies he’s using.

Dude, I’m a devoted AI fan, too, but I also know the difference between the trivial and the important.

You still have time either to buy a VCR or make friends with someone who owns a VCR who isn’t going to be taping Angel.

Did you say…“minkey?”

I’ll just be watching Band of Brothers over on the History Channel.

Fuck Bush and AI.
