“Busch”. LOL! All the shots have me thinking of beer now. . . and really shitty beer.
Go Rudy!!
Are the Vice-Presidential candidates going to debate? I think that would be really interesting.
I wish not to hijack, but can’t let this slide.
Sorry, not worth 1000+ American lives.
new things i learned about bush,
he loved an iraq widow and knows rue de day…
“Valley of peace”? Who coined that phrase? It immediately made me think of “valley of the shadow of death”. Some speechwriter needs to be taken to the woodshed.
Which is the best channel for post-debate analysis, guys? Besides Fox. CSPAN is taking viewer calls (yeccch) and CSPAN-2 has the spin room but the sound isn;t working right.
Heh heh, CNN has already rerun the “I KNOW OSAMA BIN LADEN ATTACKED US!” bit.
On PBS, C. Boyden Gray, adviser to Bush 41, just said that he thought that Bush 43 was more articulate in the debate than Kerry. Apparently, he was participating in a drinking game before going on air.
Kerry is a much better speaker.
Not a word about Abu Ghraib . Anyone else surprised?
Tom Brokaw just answered my question, they debate on Tuesday.
So what will the rules of that drinking game be?
Yes. On Tuesday.
Giuliani just mentioned “mixed messages” on NBC with Brokaw. When did “mixed messages” become a GOP talking point? Did I miss the memo? Has this been going on for a while, or is it a new thing?
I disagree. Freedom is worth 1,000 lives. It is easily worth 1,000 lives. Ask anyone who has ever NOT had freedom. Ask anyone in the past who has had to fight for their freedom. Throughout history people have risked death for the chance at freedom.
That they are not Americans, and that these lives are Americans. . . A life is a life.
Blessed are the peace keepers.
Surprisingly, Fox seems to be grudgingly ceding the victory to Kerry. They tried to make some hay out of the “global test” quote but over all they can’t find much reason to praise GWB.
Oh yeah…but what was there to say besides “I deplore Abu Ghraib” “No, I deplore it MORE!” etc. Kerry’s not hardcore enough to demand that Rumsfeld take responsibility (FTR, I don’t think he was really) and resign, but it could be implied that all this shit happened on Bush’s watch and not one head has rolled except for the lower-rank soldiers (and again, throw the book at the sickos, but investigate more).
Cheney drops an F-bomb: do a shot.
He must have been drinking with Rudy because he also said that Bush was very articulate. Man, they can’t even think of a good lie to spin.
NBC calls it a tie - no clear winner.
