Worldle It’s like Wordle, but for geography. Guess the country by its shape. If you’re wrong, you’ll be told how many km/mi you’re off, and what direction the correct country is. Today’s is really easy, but take a look anyway.
Today’s is very easy. I’ll give it a go. Thanks!
There’s also this one. This one is a little trickier. You don’t guess by shape, but have to zero in on the target using heat map type clues.
Neat! Took me 7 guesses.
We’ve already got a long thread on Wordle somewhere. But for some reason search doesn’t see it.
Got it in 5.
Here:
So, Globle is essentially a “you’re getting warmer, warmer, hot, really hot now!” type of game. I tried it, but, I don’t get what the main challenge is.
ETA — just as the OP described it. I may try it again, but so far, meh.
That you remember the names of all the countries in the world, I guess. I mean, Wordle is a similar idea, expressed in a different way. Getting closer, getting closer, got it!
I hate wordle. Once, if I Ever get it in 1, I will stop.
I’m now playing Wordle, Worldle, and Mathler each day … must stop now …
Yeah okay, that must be it.
Heh. I don’t even want to say how many it took me. I circled all around the country guessing everything but the obvious one. 18. My average is 12 over 6 games. Same thing happened to me the other day with Nepal. And a week or two ago, I got hit with Dominca, which took lots of guesses for me to even come up with all those island names.
If you want to try a really interesting geographic game, try Geoguessr:
I just found Quordle, it’s 4 Wordle games at once. My favorite of the Wordle spinoffs so far.
I’ve been playing that for a month now. Lots of fun. Almost got a perfect score on Classic world (24,991), but I prefer playing 3-minute timed games. On US Cities, I got 24,999 – the one I missed? My home town. It put me in Lake Michigan about a half mile or so off the Chicago shore and I had to estimate my location. I was just that much off. Some of the videos of the guys who are really good at this are pretty impressive.
#Worldle #29 3/6 (100%)
#Worldle #30 3/6 (100%)
Is anyone else playing Worldle?
#Worldle #30 4/6 (100%)
I have been playing Wordle for over a month and still enjoy it. Tried Nerdle a couple of times and liked it. And now Worldle seems fun too. Still not sure why this particular genre of online puzzle games are suddenly all the rage in 2022.
Yes they’re definitely trendy.
