But what about Numbers 3, 4 and 5?

Everybody knows about Numbers 6, 2 and 1 (we won’t go there!), but have prisoners numbers 3, 4 and 5 ever appeared (or been mentioned)in the series?

Be seing you…

At the risk of sounding stupid or opening a can of worms or something bad happening… Could you please explian this question cuz I’ve never heard anything about 6,2, and 1 for prison numbers (or maybe I have and just didn’t notice in which case a mind jogger would be nice)

This involves a British t.v. show from the 60’s called “THE PRISONER”, and if you’re smart you will run like HELL away from this topic. If you thought Scientology was weird…

Slythe: Has the discussion of this subject already caused an intellectual/moral/religious brouhaha in a previous thread?? If so, wouldn’t want to open a second can of worms

From the topic I thought this post had to do with bodily functions.

Mojo: I can be imaginative if needed; but that would be stretching it a bit

I loved “The Prisoner”, but it’s been several years since I’ve seen it. Does anyone know of a cable channel that carries it? Anyhow, several other numbers were mentioned and have appeared: 38, 14, 58, 24, 12, 73, 86, and 48. The lowest number, other than 1, 2, and 6, that I could find was “8”, in the episode “Living in Harmony” played by Alexis Kanner. This information can be found on the IMDb (International Movie Database), specifically at

There may have been some people listed there that were 3, 4, or 5 but are called something else (like “Woman at Party”).

I don’t think any channel is carrying The Prisoner on a regular basis. However, TVLand had a one-night marathon of episodes during its recent “Austin Powers’ Spy-a-Thon.”

Believe Guy is right in saying that no channel broadcasts the series on a regular basis. I remember that a few years ago, TVOntario aired it during summer.

(LOVED those final two episodes, even though I’d be very hard pressed to tell you what they were about
