Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

Twitter bans and deletes people every day for various transgressions of TOS. Do you think some even mid-level manager gets involved in that, beyond possibly okaying a list that is then passed to someone at the very lowest level to implement?

There are a boatload of low-level people in sysadmin roles who could issue ‘rm -fr /’ on any number of critical corporate servers world-wide that would be much more of an issue then deleting a Twitter account.

This.

When that happens, it won’t be Thump’s fault. It will somehow be Hillary’s fault and Obama’s and the leftist, intellectual, coastal, global elites who use words too big for them to understand.

They will think Thump tried to keep it from happening, tried to get them more money in their paychecks, tried to get them The Greatest Healthcare in the World, tried to make the men’s dicks longer and the women’s boobs bigger. Why will they think this? Because Thump will tell them. Thump will say, I tried to do all this, but no one would work with me! He will claim it’s everybody’s fault EXCEPT his, and his lame-brained, FOX-watching sycophants will believe him.

Right.

There have been a few threads here about Trump actually being smart, because, you know, how can an idiot have so many supporters?! Humans have *never *collectively made errors of judgement…

Each time my challenge has simply been thus: Forget handwaving all the times he says something stupid, when has he said something smart? In fact, when has he even understood a complex or nuanced point? There should be lots of examples from the hundreds of hours of interviews.

The thing is Trump’s exactly a politician.
He is real life caricature of a politician.

Trump’s presidency is written by the creators of Faulty Towers and Blackadder.

I can understand how some people could have voted for him. Some would vote for Satan if he had (R) after his name. Some simply disliked Hillary’s voice. Some just wanted to shuffle the deck. Some voted for him on a lark as a protest against the inevitable Hillary. I can understand all that. What I cannot understand is how they continue to rabidly support a guy who has accomplished nothing, does not care about them, actively conspired with an adversarial power, shown zero compassion, and has stocked the government with people intent on destroying the part to which they were to oversee. What we have is a cult of personality unequaled outside of North Korea.

When he talks about Harambe the gorilla, apparently. Seriously.

Nitpick, it’s Fawlty Towers.

You got that shit exactly correct. Look at what he’s already done, interfering n various things and making them worse because he is so fucking stupid, demanding Congress clean up his pile of shit, then blaming them for dropping HIS turd. His “trumpcare” is a perfect example - even though 'm glad he keeps failing. LOSER tRump.

He creates turmoil and chaos, fucks everything up or makes it far worse, and then blames the whole world. And his “base” laps it up.

:smack:

The Cheetoh in Chief is on fire this morning. And he’s pulling out all the greatest hits! We have multiple Crooked H’s, there’s Degenerate Animal, Pocahontas, and, my favorite, Crazy Bernie!

The one I don’t really get is:
My Twitter account was taken down for 11 minutes by a rogue employee. I guess the word must finally be getting out-and having an impact.

Huh? The word is getting out that you are a complete moron and finally making an impact? What word is finally getting out and making an impact that causes someone to delete your Shit feed?

He’s got 40 million followers (many of whom can tie their own shoes) and he’s worried that nobody’s paying him any attention.

But his base is unified and on a mission to destroy democratic norms and institutions, whereas his (their) critics are not necessarily concerned with trying to protect them. Apathy, indifference is what allowed authoritarian Trump to hijack the Republican party and fly it into the twin towers of democracy. And now that building is on fire.

There is no doubt in my mind that he’s getting out in front of something. Again.

Bowe Bergdahl has been sentenced to a reduction in rank, dishonorable discharge, and fine. No prison time. Didn’t Trump call for him to be executed? I’m bracing myself for Trump’s reaction to the sentence.

Trump is probably “frustrated” that he can’t make all the decisions in the Department of Military Justice.

That doesn’t quite sound in character for the America-hating fuckstick. He would never acknowledge that he had failed at something, even to blame someone else for it. His M. O. would have him asserting confidently that he HAD accomplished all the things he claimed he had set out to do. Any examples to the contrary would be brushed off as “fake news.”

This is the crux of the problem with Donald Trump. He legitimizes behavior that is inappropriate to the office of the President of the United States. We should not accept Twitter as a legitimate method of communication between the government and the public. The informality of the application besmirches what should be (and used to be pre-Trump) measured discourse by an elected official. It’s fucking embarrassing. He’s an imbecile and his Twitter use just reinforces that.

You’d think that would give him pause, though. The Trump supporter. I mean, there’s a pretty good way to avoid saying the wrong thing when you’re surrounded (or could be if you were savvier) by people who know how to do this sort of thing. If he’s so out of his element that he can’t resist spitting out the wrong thing the moment it crosses his mind and instead utilize career government staff and political experts to tell him the right thing to say, is he really the kind of person who should be POTUS? Is he really an effective leader if he can’t manage to say the right thing? POTUS is not a job for a rank amateur and they know that’s what he is. But somehow that’s acceptable?!

The mind…it boggles.

Want your mind boggled some more? The other American Trump supporter in the office is a Mexican-American.
