We would have to assume that Trump’s lawyer doesn’t know that the past tense of “to plead” is “pleaded”, not “pled”.
A lawyer probably wouldn’t make that mistake, but a racist toddler with tiny fingers just might.

Hopefully never.
Actually…this is a good thing. One of the things I’ve learned in this horrible year is the special relationship between the Justice Department and the President. It’s one of the cherished norms of our democracy that, even thought Justice ostensibly works for the President, the President keeps Justice at arm’s length, to avoid the appearance that the president can use the federal law enforcement agencies at his command to punish his political enemies.
Now, Trump is chafing at that, and whines incessantly about it. But he seems to have stopped short of issuing any direct orders to Justice, thank God. Or if he has, Sessions is ignoring him – which gives Sessions more integrity than seems likely.
Who’s hungry for word salad?
Wow. Even imagining it read in E E Cummings’ voice is hardly an improvement.
He’s in quite the mood.
He’s had twenty minutes of Fox ‘n’ Friends since that last tweet and there’s still another hour of the show to go so we may not be done yet this morning.
So our shit economy is the fault of this “Brian Ross”? How can one man wield such power?
I’m coming to view the incessant whining as a good thing. I figure there’s about a 0% chance that the Trump Organization’s finances survive an encounter with a serious federal investigation based on his prior track record (e.g., all the fines he had to pay the New Jersey Gaming Commission). This is arguably the worst threat outstanding to him and it’s clear Mueller is looking at it what with all the white-collar finance and forensic accountant types he’s got on his team. His best bet - and the page from the authoritarian playbook - is to fire Mueller and ensure all investigations into himself are quashed. Sure, there would be some complaining on editorial pages but I figure he can claim it’s all fake news and dare Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell to do something about it (they won’t).
Instead he lets the investigation proceed and whines about it. Is it some combination of not wanting to fire people and simply not understanding what sort of report is likely to come out of all this? Or just laziness? I don’t know, but every day he complains without actually doing something is a good one.
Try some other voices – Mark Hamill as the Joker or Andy Serkis as Gollum usually work.
Apparently both pleaded and pled are acceptable for the past tense.
The funny thing about Trump’s excuse making is that his excuses are just as bad as the stuff he’s trying to avoid blame for.
Make the FBI great again? J. Edgar Hoover! Nabbed “Pretty Boy” Floyd, exposed MLK, and could totally rock a little black dress!
Apparently, it was good just up to the point where Comey took it over…
Yup.
Right before James Comey became the Director of the FBI, it was a magnificent organization. Right before him.
So, the Twitter feed of ‘realDonaldTrump’ may or may not be the real Donald Trump - depending on if the twit in question is potentially incriminating.
Does Twitter have an official policy about letting others use your account and pretending to be you?
If Twitter hasn’t suspended his account by now, what makes you think they’d even consider doing so for this last Tweet even if it did break their rules. Doesn’t Twitter have an anti-bullying policy? How many people has Trump bullied through his Twitter account? Seems like an appropriate reason to ban someone from Twitter.
As long as the president of the United States is stirring up anything by using Twitter, that company does not need to advertise. He can openly call for armed rebellion against the government, mass murder, or any other crime and Twitter will jyst sit back and enjoy the exposure. What will be bad for the company will be the next president’s statement that he or she will not use Twitter at all while in office
This is the first think I thought of when I saw this on the news .
I don’t have a Twitter account, but I suspect that Trump is the best thing that has ever happened to them.
But can anyone actually answer the question?
Hey, great idea Donnie! And everyone who lost money because of your tweets should sue you! Many millions of dollars!
