I for one, hope that he spends all of his hours sitting in his bathrobe and slippers responding to various “insults” that celebrities say about him. Keep up the good work, I say to Streep and others. It keeps the man-child busy with inconsequential ego wars and away from actual governing and policy.
The fact that Trump felt compelled to respond to Streep shows that the guy never got out of the 5th grade emotionally.
Trump is getting more and more immature by the day. Now he is tweeting about how all the Washington stores are sold out of gown for the inauguration. This is of course patently false. I was in a DC mall the other day and they had tons of dresses. In fact, I was wondering why so many dresses out just for New Year’s when I realized that it was also for the inauguration. Niemann-Marcus reportedly has thousands of dresses in stock. He just can’t bear the fact that people don’t want to go to his party. Oh, I’m sure that there will be a good turnout, but unless it is THE BIGGEST INAUGURATION EVER, Trump will throw a temper tantrum. It’s starting to go beyond amusing to me at this point.

Perhaps we’ve been finally struck speechless by this latest display of Trumpian chutzpah. MLK weekend is simply not the time to go after the most revered civil rights legend who is still living, especially with an attack that doesn’t make any sense.
Of all the people in congress, John Lewis is the one least deserving of the “all talk, no action” jab. And only a racist would assume Lewis’s congressional district is especially “crime-infested” or “falling apart”. Some of the poshest zip codes in metro Atlanta are in his district.

It is heartening to see GOPers like Ben Sasse defending Lewis, even if it does seem a bit two-faced.
