All of the civil war talk might seem like a joke, but it’s not. The rhetoric is toxic, and toxic rhetoric will, in time, incite toxic behavior. I am beginning to get the sense that the realization that they might lose the next one or two elections is dawning on them, and that they’re looking for a Reichstag moment. The right wants to incite. They want to instigate outrage with the hope that it will enable them to claim victimization. The more threatened they feel by the reaction to their daily outrage, the more they can justify establishing emergency legislation, which would be the beginning of democracy’s end in this country.

Well heck, this ‘lefty’ :snerk: that supports the constitution, is gonna have to load up. I guess I didn’t get invited to the party.

It’s quite odd that those that support Trump, don’t think it’s possible that there are many that oppose this madness that are actually quite well armed. And considering the inability of Trump to add 2 + 2, I suspect that he and his supporters may have a bit of difficulty.

Sadly, you can only lead a horse to water.

As the world continues to get smaller, we need to work together. There is no doubt about that.
