These are all things that TRUMP would hold a years-long grudge over. More projection than a multiplex theater.
I really like your idea of a Democratic version of the Contract with America. Perhaps with a better name, though. It would be a worthwhile gambit in the run-up to the midterms. Of course, we’re talking about Democrats, so the whole thing wouldn’t get hammered out until December.
In fact, the Office of Government Ethics and DOJ IG both did probe the Mueller appointment for conflicts of interest, and didn’t find any.
But Mexico’s paying for the wall, right? All we have to do is wait for the funding to be secured, then we can start construction right away. No point in using US-taxpayer funds at all
*“Collusion is not a crime, but that doesn’t matter because there was No Collusion (except by Crooked Hillary and the Democrats)!”
“…Also, why is Mueller only appointing Angry Dems, some of whom have worked for Crooked Hillary, others, including himself, have worked for Obama…And why isn’t Mueller looking at all of the criminal activity & real Russian Collusion on the Democrats side-Podesta, Dossier?”*
Just so we are clear, the president wants the Democrats investigated for collusion, which is not a crime.
Actually I’m pretty sure collusion with illegal hackers *is *a crime.
Why do I suspect that this is not the most genius thing to tweet.
Substitute collusion where applicable.
Agreed. But, the president doesn’t think it is, but thinks that Democrats should be investigated for it regardless.
IOWRDI
It’s okay when Republicans do it.
Let him shut it down. He’ll just fuck up the works and blame everyone else. Let’s call his bluff.
Of course he doesn’t need Koch money, he has Putin money. But being the greedy bastard he is, he’d probably take Koch money too though. His main issue with them is, they didn’t kiss his ass. And it probably infuriates him that they DON’T HAVE TO.
I personally think the Kochs share a hefty share of the blame for the state of our government anyway, with their giant bribes (so called “contributions”).
Oh, it is on.
Does he think their various PACs spent money on the presidential campaign to support Clinton, Johnson and/or Stein?

Nah, Bernie Sanders.

It’s not what the Koch money means to HIS fortunes that matters. It’s what the Koch money means to the Pubbies in Congress and the Senate, who, given sufficient motivation, actually have the power to stand against him. Those Pubbies can’t just switch brands to Putin money, and Putin probably can’t start his own Republican Party with blackjack and hookers to replace the one the Kochs have.
I’m hoping it’s just a (short) matter of time before AFP starts running anit-Trump ads on Fox & Friends.
The globalist Koch Brothers, who have become a total joke in real Republican circles
What. The. Fuck.
What. The. Fuck.
It’s possibly the most truthful thing that Trump’s ever said - the Koch brothers do like the tax cuts, regulation cuts and judicial appointments, and Trump owns the Republican Party now, so they just have to bend over and take any parts of Trump’s agenda that they don’t like. The Kochs have now discovered they may have the money but they don’t actually control the party.
Whether pointing out this truth is actually good for Trump, I figure it’s probably not, but I’ve figured him as having committed political suicide more times than I have fingers and toes by now and there he sits, so what the fuck do I know.
The Koch Brothers astroturfed the Tea Party into existence, and upended the Republican Party as we knew it. Trump leveraged off of that. They’re smart. He’s lucky. This should be interesting.
