Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

Again, this has to be a mistake. Republicans are all about states’ rights. They’d never approve of the federal government charging in and telling a state what to do.

There is literally no chance that Donald Trump wrote that. The concept is far too abstract and sophisticated for his swiss-cheesed brain to have generated.

I have visions of the world as a barren wasteland by the time we get through this.

Why “the world”? Your problems aren’t necessarily ours.

Yes, but as long as someone, in Trump’s name, called black people stupid then Republicans are happy.

My exact first thought as well.

There is a massive trade deficit: the US does not import nearly as many problems as it exports.

Do you think the environmental problems of the United States do not spread to the rest of the world? And vice versa?

True enough.

It seems like a long time since anyone in broadcast media has mentioned the widespread speculation that Trump writes only some of the tweets that go out in his name. That used to be brought up fairly regularly. Now reporters seem to be back to ‘assuming’ that he writes them all.

(Subjective impression on my part, of course.)

Why, indeed?

Wut?

First of all, why would they give Judicial Fucking Watch the time of day, let alone text histories? Judicial Fucking Watch is Larry Klayman’s orc-mockery of the ACLU and should never be considered some kind of legitimate organization.

ACLJ is another fuckery organization like that. Pat Robertson-founded this time.

The right has been building their own bizzaro world version of reality for decades with things like ACLJ, Judicial Watch, Conservapedia, creation “science”, etc.

Of course there is always the possibility that Trump thinks Judicial Watch is a branch of the government.

I already posted in the Mueller thread, but it’s clear that Trump is freaking out right about now. It’s also clear that General Beauregard is fighting back against Dotard – by not resigning.

It’s possible we’re approaching endgame at this point. Giuliani has no power to negotiate the terms of an interview with Mueller, and if Loser Donald doesn’t agree to one voluntarily, Mueller will just subpoena him. He can try to fight it, but unless the Supreme Court completely up-ends the unanimous precedent from the Nixon case, he’ll lose. And since there no way he’ll be able to testify without either perjuring himself or admitting to criminal acts, he’ll have little choice but to resign.

One can hope, at least.

I don’t think Donald believes he’ll have any problems at all with testifying. He’s a natural at this stuff. The best! I think it’s more likely he’ll testify, Mueller will recommend charges (notice that Giuliani is already mentioning “perjury trap” every 5 minutes), and then we’ll see what Congress is made of.

I think all Mueller will have to do is ask a couple of questions and then let thump run off at the mouth. Thump is one of those people who cannot tolerate silence–he has to fill it with the sound of his own voice yammering away. He will yammer out a rope long enough to hang himself (metaphorically speaking).

ThelmaLou, I think you nailed it.

Oh boy, we knew we were going to get some good Omarosa tweets:

So, by his own admission, the President of the United States hires stupid, lazy sycophants for top positions in his government. Lovely.

As it turns out, though, Omarosa was smart enough to get a recording where Trump claims ignorance that she had even been fired and blames the whole thing on John Kelly. So by his own admission on the tape he has no idea what’s going on in his own White House and lets his staff boss him around.

Probably some or all of both narratives are entirely lies and reality show TV storylines. It would be funnier if we didn’t all have to live in here with them.

Never heard of sea weed
