Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

I do read his tweets from time to time, but this is explicitly why I do not follow him, so as not to bump up his follower count.

I expect thump to propose that we do away with voters and elections all together and just elect the next and [del]permanent[/del] future president based on Twitter follower count. WINNING!!

“Temerity” is not the right word. According to the right wing, he was “uppity enough” to seek it. One South Carolina Republican even came out and said it.

I’ve always maintained that that was Obama’s biggest crime-- not being black, but being an uppity black. I mean, goin’ to Hahvahd an’ all. What the hell did he think he was? White?

Which racist piece-of-crap-for-a-human said that? Mind you, ISTR it happening, just fuzzy on the details.

Twitter is a great example of the law of unintended consequences when it comes to Trump. It’s funny how many take pride in talking about how stupid Trump is even though he’s leveraging Twitter like a boss.

Otio!

Not sure what you mean by “leveraging Twitter like a boss.” He’s the President, people are going to follow him.

The only thing he’s “boss” at leveraging is the corruption and stupidity of other people.

He correctly noted that he could shoot someone in broad daylight and his supporters would still follow him. That’s not because he’s smart, it’s because they’re dumb and horrible.

He also correctly judges that people follow their self-serving interests when they are bullied or blackmailed, so he does both of those things.

None of that takes being intelligent or being a boss. It just involves having zero morals, a gigantic ego, and some dark urge to keep playing the game no matter what.

Good point. He should leverage the court system next. He should agree to go under oath and brag about all of the great deals he’s made. Get everything on record. That would really show those liberals.

The thing is, he wasn’t really “uppity” at all. The right wing correctly decided that painting Obama as “uppity” was their best attack angle for keeping the base motivated. They built a very successful media strategy around that, and it worked.

IMO, Obama realized way too late what he was up against, and kept trying to play the “let’s be reasonable” angle, which only made it worse.

As former Presidents look back and recall proud moments of accomplishment, none of those losers can match Trump who will be able to state that when he tweeted, he leveraged twitter like a boss.
Dipshit.

Here. Turns out he was from Georgia, not South Carolina, but I’ll not apologize to the likes of South Carolina.

I can’t help suspecting that “leveraged _____ like a boss” is one of the Suggested Phrases for Praising Our Wholly-Owned-and-Operated U.S. President, on the list that social-influence workers at the IRA (and elsewhere) are given to help them in composing posts.

A Southerner who doesn’t know the “racial context.” I’m sure he refers to white people as uppity all the time.

And he probably uses the term “white trash” also. Mind you, that term is also racist as hell.

Someone’s pretty upset that Pet Buttigieg appeared in a town hall on “his” network;

That last part is a bit perplexing, as I thought Alfred E. Neumann was currently president.

Pete is one of the last people Trump wants to race against and he has so little self-control he can’t conceal his insecurity.

Well, to his credit, Mr. Trump’s ears aren’t quite so big, and he not missing any teeth (though he may be wearing dentures).

But since Alfred E. Neumann leads each issue of MAD with a pithy quotation, that is correctly-spelled and grammatically-correct, and shows current affairs to be the clusterflop that they are, and is in print forever, instead of an easily-deletable tweet; I think it is safe to say that Mr. Trump is several steps below Mr. Neumann.

Not really. Being white trash is a choice. Trump is white trash and so are all of the sister-fuckers in the Alabama legislature who passed the recent abortion bill. If you don’t want to be called white trash, don’t act like white trash.

No, it really is racist. Maybe you’ve heard some other race/color before “trash”, but I never have and I spent a hell of a long time in a damned racist part of the country. The default is that other races–especially Black–are automatically trash and if they try not to be, well, then, they’re “uppity”. Of course I disagree with that racist bullshit, but that’s the view I encountered in that hell of a long time.

I would’t be surprised at all if those idjits in the Alabama legislature who passed that bill were fucking their sisters and that makes it doubly surprising to me that they didn’t include an incest exception. Maybe they’re starting to figure out that incest is rape too. They’re still too little too late on the learning curve, though.
