“Shrillary” was definitely a thing in 2016.
Despite needy phone-ins and wild tweetstorms, Trump is having a tougher time...
Data shows that public attention in President Donald Trump appears to be waning.
“Shrillary” was definitely a thing in 2016.
And, “Killary”, because, yanno, she personally caused the deaths in Benghazi.
And the ever-popular “Hitlerey” (alternatively spelled “Hitleray”).
Fortunately, the scales are balanced so we now enjoy Twitler as our President.
As Mattie so eloquently used it in True Grit, “trash” by itself is non-racist and deeply insulting, when used with the correct tone of voice. And Frank James truly was trash.
That’s a good one.
By the way, in 2006, the NY Times crossword puzzle included the answer “SCUMBAG” for 43-down. They had to apologize.
Turns out that “scumbag” originally was a vulgar word for a condom. That term was first used in 1967, and the first time it was used to mean “contemptible person” was 1971.
Trumps tweets aren’t packing the punch they had when he first took office:

Twitter Fatigue.
He’s becoming last year’s model. He is boring his fans with the same old same old. Just wait for Cousin Oliver or Ted McGinley to show up.
Irony cannot die while TRump can still tweet:
I long thought twitter would be the downfall of civilization, case in point: Trump.
But like everything else, it’s losing its flashy new toy appeal. Usually happens when there’s bloat, like tulips to the Dutch in the 17th century.
I’m less concerned about the mispelling than I am about the content. The President of the United States is siding with the head of North Korea against an American citizen. Is there any lower that he can sink?
Don’t answer that.

Exactly, Joe’s so low IQ he’s been spelling his own name wrong these past 7 decades.

Doesn’t matter, give it a week, and he’ll answer it for you.
That’s a good one.

I knew the etymology of scumbag, but didn’t know how recently it was created. I’m surprised.

Kim is still playing him like a fiddle. Bolton and company pissed at you? Take a shot at one of Trump’s enemies. I’m just surprised that Kim didn’t also say that Donald has more beautiful hair.
North Korea is calling John Bolton a “defective human being”. I wonder if Individual 1 supports those comments, as well.

I’d bet he does: coming from Kim, those insults are a sign of strength and dominance, and Trump likes those, can respect those, as long as he’s not the guy being the target.

Similarly, searches for “Trump” are trending downward:
Google Trends data shows search interest in the president’s name hovering at its lowest level in years, as a series of Democratic challengers begin their 2020 campaigns.
…In recent weeks, President Donald Trump has stepped up his media appearances and launched a series of wild tweetstorms.
…Experts say Trump fatigue may be setting in, with the public hardened to the constant stream of controversy generated by the president.

He is now trying to walk back both his campaign comments while on foreign soil and his agreement with a brutal dictator.
“I was actually sticking up for Sleepy Joe Biden while on foreign soil. Kim Jong Un called him a “low IQ idiot,” and many other things, whereas I related the quote of Chairman Kim as a much softer “low IQ individual.” Who could possibly be upset with that?”
