Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

How about the following-- it’s something that many believe is true but I defy anyone to find any but the most superficial evidence of its veracity. I maintain that this claim cannot be proved!! It is a hoax!DONALD J. TRUMP IS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.

You can now report tweets for being misleading about a political event, such as voting, and for being possibly fake (under spam or suspicious), in addition to being threatening (under abusive or harmful).

Guess what I plan to start doing every day?

Don’t bother. You’ll ruin your liver and the tweets will be no less idiotic.

Like he was asking questions about those Central Park guys.

Or about Obama’s birthplace, for that matter.

Early in Trump’s life he learned the “make insinuations rather than outright accusations” trick, and he’s held tightly to it ever since. Turns out it was tailor-made for the social media age…

So, as the US passes 100,000 deaths, Trump tweets a Lou Dobbs clip:

Greatest at what? Causing American deaths? We lead the world, I’ll give Trump that.

So Trump’s not mad at Fox News anymore for not working hard enough to get him reelected? Nice to see an amicable resolution to these little lovers’ tiffs between bedfellows.

Other accomplishments:
Greatest bankruptcy in world history. Multiple category winner. Largest deficit, most bancruptcies in a single country, most bankruptcies in the world (ongoing due to US and Trump wannabees inaction and lack of leadership).

Most personal bankruptcies as an individual who should have learned: Wines, Vodka, Airlines, Casinos, Steaks, ongoing resorts worldwide.

Most National Emergencies without justification (vetoed).

All time deadbeat employer, contractor, friend (hardly knew him/her/them).

First known president to set up slush funds as a charity - and get caught and barred from doing it again. Note that this excludes congress critters who do this with impunity.

Murdered Lady Liberty right there on America’s main street. (see Attorney General and Inspectors General).

Greatest court packing with unqualified candidates (an assist from Moscow Mitch).

Most lies: Daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, and per presidential term.

Most expensive hooker sessions. $450,000.00 for two romps in the hay.

and so many more … supoenas, tax returns, pardons, …

White House says Trump will sign an executive order “pertaining to social media” tomorrow, but provides no details on what it might say or do.

I’m having trouble imagining what such an Executive Order would say. Maybe “Twitter is a bunch of doody-heads, and they should stop it!”

Ooooooo, another “executive order.” He LIKES signing those.

Likely something demanding that Twitter be “respectful”* aka *sycophantic towards him with some kind of penalties attached. The fact that he lacks the legal authority to order something done has never stopped him from issuing an order to do it anyway. It wouldn’t be the first illegal and ineffectual executive order he’s given.

Very serious question
“Conway called the employee “horrible” and directed listeners to go after him.”
Even if it wasn’t an explicit call for violence - is this legal?
Is there any way that she can face legal consequences outside of political sanction?
Could she be sanctioned by congress?

What country have you been living in? Nothing at all will happen to Conway.

Remind me, is that worse than what happens when you ignore subpoenas?

He’ll probably order the FEC to investigate social media responsibility vis a vis elections blah blah blah. FEC commissioners will roll their eyes and make jerk-off motions behind his back.

I picture a meeting of Twitter execs having heart attacks from laughing.

But fuck them anyway. Should’ve started doing this in 2015.

Probably nothing in particular. I imagine Lou Dobbs just likes losing arguments a lot.

II know it’s economically unfeasible but I would love to see Twitter just shut down for a couple of weeks and watch Donald completely melt down at the loss of his usual medium for wharrgarbl. What’s he going to do - hold more press conferences where those mean reporters might ask him actual questions?

So after Trump spews thousands of tweets over the years which are easily refutable outright lies, insults, slanders, or just petulant whining, Twitter finally responds in the mildest, meekest possible way, adding disclaimers to two of his tweets saying that they “might potentially be misleading”.

Trump responds by getting ready to announce an executive order against social media companies. A quote from the draft: “In a country that has long cherished the freedom of expression, we cannot allow a limited number of online platforms to hand-pick the speech that Americans may access and convey online,” the draft order says. “This practice is fundamentally un-American and anti-democratic. When large, powerful social media companies censor opinions with which they disagree, they exercise a dangerous power.”

These are truly Orwellian times.
