Yeah, it doesn’t seem to be a well-thought out plan. I’m shocked.
I just had a thought: what if somebody tells him (he won’t ever read it) that past president John Adams enacted the Alien and Seditions Acts to, among other things, punish those who criticize the federal government? Would he assume Adams was a great Republican (actually a Federalist) and seek to renew it?
The order is expected to call for the rollback of a law that legally protects social media companies from the content that’s posted on their sites. So, in a case of truly epic irony, it would give Twitter 1000% more incentive to delete Trump’s lies, slanders and threats so that they are not legally responsible for the potential fallout from Trump tweets.
This is what I was thinking. Doesn’t that give Twitter more reason to tag his lies and delete his slanders? Wouldn’t the first thing they’d delete are all his tweets accusing Joe Scarborough of murder?
Throwing a tantrum is really not the most contructive first reaction to…pretty much anything.

That is, all of the Republicans who can be characterized with the word “good” are dead by now.
