Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

[Emphasis added]

There is (or was, back [DEL]in the middle ages[/DEL] when I was in school) a concept in the RCC called “Occasion of Sin.” It held that putting oneself in a position where one is likely to commit a sin was in itself sinful. Regarding the emphasized part, I wonder if Trumpism has given rise to “Occasion of Stupid.”

Here’s the context of Couy Griffin’s statement:

“I’ve come to a place where I’ve come to a conclusion where the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat.”

Griffin seems to be implying that this is a recent conclusion. It’s not. He’s publicly called for people to be killed on several previous occasions:

“If there’s political leaders such as governors…y’all better start paying real close attention, because we’re moving to you. And you better make sure that you haven’t been doing anything where you would be guilty of the charge of treason, because I don’t care if you are a governor, you can still swing at the end of a rope.”

“If we have political leaders in our country today… that are guilty of treason, which is to directly undermine the United States of America…such things like the Mueller Report… all this fake stuff that was constructed to try to destroy our president and in turn bring our nation down in my opinion is treason in its truest form. Treason is punishable by death.”

“They’re gonna milk this coronavirus deal as long as they possibly can…Maybe they’re doing it because some of them might be guilty of treason, and treason’s a hanging offense. I don’t know why they’re doing it, but they’re doing it, and we can’t let them win. We’ve gotta fight back; we’ve gotta push back.”

“There Will Come A Day When Politics Won’t Be Able To Hide Treasonous Acts. Hang Em High Mr. President!”

“It might be a lead up to a civil war and if we do have a civil war over this, maybe that’s gonna be the uniforms. Maybe one of the uniforms will have masks on and the other ones won’t.”

“Don’t allow the state police to operate inside of your county unconstitutionally. And if y’all don’t have enough deputies to get the job done, call on us, because there’s a lot of us ready. Form a sheriff’s posse. We’re ready. I’d rather push back now than later.”

“If a man wants to put an army together, that’s where you would put it together at, through all of our hunters. Y’all are the guys that can protect our borders and get our Country back.”

“I ask you state police officers - I hope you watch this video; I hope it’s shared with the governor - don’t start a war. Don’t come out and think you’re gong to shut businesses down…because if you do, I’d be willing to bet the rent that Sheriff Tony Mace and his deputies are going to make sure that doesn’t happen.”

“Draw the hard line, hold it, God bless you. And if you need any patriots all you gotta to do is call and we’ll come running. We’ll sign up for whatever posses you want us to sign up for. We’ll stand in any battles that you want to lead us into…We will stand with you. We will stand shoulder to shoulder with you through any battle that you choose to lead us into.”

So we have a man who is an elected official telling people they should organize armed paramilitary groups, disobey laws, fight against the police, hang Democrats for treason, and have a civil war.

To their credit, other Republican officials in New Mexico have publicly denounced Griffin. The only fellow Republican who has announced his support for Griffin is Donald Trump. (And all of the statements I quoted were made before Trump said he supports Griffin.)

In a regular country, this man would never have been elected in the first place, and if mistakenly elected, he would have been swiftly removed by his own party if these statements were made after his election.

The USA is not a regular country.

It is a failed state.

“If I’ve lost Cronkite, I’ve lost middle America” — LBJ’s (perhaps apocryphal) reaction to Cronkite’s newly dubious/critical observations on the Vietnam War

So, Trump’s “when the looting starts, the shooting starts” Tweet has drawn a lot of condemnation, including even some kind of limited action from Twitter itself. Joe Biden, naturally, was harshly critical of the President’s statement, saying Trump is “calling for violence against American citizens during a moment of pain for so many. I’m furious, and you should be too. This is no time for incendiary tweets; it’s no time to encourage violence”.

But, there was also a statement about the “looting and shooting” Tweet from the “Oath Keepers”, a very hard-core right-wing group:

Wow. Stupid Mussolini is really screwing the pooch, here, ain’t he?

I just hope it all matters for something in November.

Wow. Even the ultra-right militant Oath Keepers think Trump stepped over the line?

Guess I should’ve checked Twitler’s feed first. He’s walking it back. You think he gets tired of walking back so much stupid shit he says?

**
Looting leads to shooting, and that’s why a man was shot and killed in Minneapolis on Wednesday night - or look at what just happened in Louisville with 7 people shot. I don’t want this to happen, and that’s what the expression put out last night means. It was spoken as a fact, not as a statement. It’s very simple, nobody should have any problem with this other than the haters, and those looking to cause trouble on social media. Honor the memory of George Floyd!**

What’s the difference between “a fact” and “a statement”?

Not even that dumbshit could explain it. He heard his homeboys, the Oath Keepers, were down on him and he had to shit out something as quick as possible to make amends.

I guess Swift is so big now she won’t mind if she loses some fans who are Trumpers

That is not walking it back. It’s yet another lame attempt from that damn dirty lying sack of dung to make himself look good and put the blame for what he’s stoke onto others instead of on himself and his minions. In other words, it’s yet another failure from fail-fail.

Yeah, you are right. I’m just having a hard time coming up with any sort of explanation for all the shit that motherfucker throws at the wall. There is so much sticking, it is sad.

Chicago’s Mayor Lightfoot has a response to Trump’s racist tweet about shooting.

"“His goal is to polarize to destabilize local government and inflame racist urges, and we can absolutely not let him prevail,” Lightfoot added. “And I will code what I really want to say to Donald Trump. It’s two words. It begins with F. It ends with you.”
This bit can be found easily at the following video by starting 4 minutes in, and watching for a minute.

I guess nobody ever told him that if you can’t talk right, ya ought-ta keep yer fuckin’ trap shut.

She endorsed Hillary in 2016, so it’s not exactly new for her.

A woman, and even worse, a black woman calling out Chief Dipshit. How long till the tweets that contain the words “nasty” (woman) and “dog” or “low iq” come out?

To paraphrase a line from Enter The Dragon: Paper targets don’t shoot back, asshole.

Premises:

  1. You are a rational person.
  2. The damn dirty lying sack of dung is not a rational person.
  3. Rational people tend to look for rational explanations for any event.

Conclusion:

  1. There is no rational explanation for what the damn dirty lying sack of dung does.

No kidding.

Oddly enough, he has never, to my knowledge, used the expression “fine people” to refer to any Blacks.

Or a line from Bloodsport: Brick not fight back!

Yep. He uses that for Nazis and the KKK.
