$11 Canadian, $8 US, right?
Yeah, but our milk doesn’t apologize if it goes sour.
My apologies. I was looking at prices for the grocery store that I shop at and I misread the numbers. It is $2.79 for 1 litre of 2% from Neilson. That works out to roughly $0.28/ 100 ml (prices on the shelf has the price per ml on it). Now, you can also buy a package of 4 one litre bags for $4.27 from the same dairy which works out to about $0.11/ 100 ml - four litres is pretty close to a gallon.
ETA: I do not know what accounts for the large difference in price per 100 ml from 1 carton to 4 bags.
I was unaware Leslie Neilson even sold milk. But, he’ll, I’d pay a premium just to hang with the dude for a few minutes.
Shirley it would be worth it.
Dead, and loving it.
Thanks for reminding me, asshole.
That darn 9th circuit! Grrr…you liberal bastards!
Here’s the texts on the 9th Circuit:
Anyone know how to check that 80% number? It smells.
ETA: Found it. He’s wrong, as usual.
Looking for more current numbers. Also notice that most cases are not sent on for further approval, in addition to the rate being wrong.
Ran out of time. Here is a Snopes article that covers the more recent time period. Basically, it’s the same thing. Very, very few cases ever move on. You could argue that 80% are overturned of less than 1% of cases. They are also combining “vacated” and “reversed”, which I believe are legally different, but perhaps not enough so to be worth arguing about at less that 1%.
And the rate being lower than the average from all circuits. In other words, the 9th district has a BETTER record than others.
Ssshhhh. Facts are confusing to Trump-wumpie.
Getting back to this for just a minute, have we already covered the fact that Wisconsin is not a border state? If so, carry on. If not, add it to the list of things Presidents should have someone check for them before they hit send.
Eh, it’s a coastal state (on the great lakes), so though it does not share a land border, it still does participate in a substantial amount of international trade w canada.
Better inform him before he tries to build a wall, though.
That’s going to be his next project-the Great Lakes Wall, to stop all those Canadists from sailing across the border to the U.S. of A.
Yeah but Michigan’s there, like a buffer. Fine, I’ll quit with the nit-picking. Maybe.
He’s got a building off Lake Michigan in Chicago. A great place to start the Lake Wall.
I don’t recall where I heard it, but if/when they build a wall on the Mexican border, it will be on the US side of the Rio Grande, so we will be ceding the river to Mexico.
If we build a wall on the Canadian border we will cede the Great Lakes (except Lake Michigan) to Canada.
^^
Making America Great Again didn’t specify what America. It could mean Mexico and Canada.
And in addition it would be treason and Trump’s the bestest treasonist, so it’ll be tremendous and everybody loves it. I can almost hear Trudeau saying 'we are not paying that confounded wall."
But this one is going to be 30000 feet high to keep those welfare queen Canadian geese out of here.
