Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

He can’t let go in the same way Macbeth couldn’t let go when Fleance escaped.

Especially when you have to do them simultaneously.

Actually, I think the Russian hooker knocked the g.d. phone out of his hand.

More wisdom for us to pontificate on:

It’s almost like he doesn’t realize that his “watered down” travel ban that DOJ is already asking the Supremes to consider is based on his own revised executive order that he and his henchmen decided to go with after apparently deciding not to take the originally blocked one to the Supremes.

But at least he has set Spicey straight that it is a travel ban.

It’s not often the chief defendant works for the purposes of helping opposing counsel, but there it is.

Not that anyone should need convincing, but there has never been a dumber President.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/national-security/trumps-latest-tweets-could-hurt-effort-to-restore-travel-ban/2017/06/05/c8eb5940-49e8-11e7-bc1b-fddbd8359dee_story.html?utm_term=.aa000e8ef9a4

Could he be undermining the DOJ on purpose because he doesn’t want the travel ban enacted after all? Betting that there will eventually be a terrorist attack on US soil and licking his chops at the thought of saying “See? I was right all along!” Knowing he could do this even if the attack came from homegrown radicals who would not have been affected by the travel ban, because many people won’t know the difference?

I realize I’m extending him way, way more intellectual credit than his rating allows, so if you think I’m reaching too far for an explanation of this latest Twidiocy, please feel free to tell me.

If that was the case, then he probably wouldn’t have revised the original executive order and just appealed its blocking to the Supreme Court. But most importantly, many of the most recent attacks in Europe and the U.S. have been committed by citizens of the respective countries where the attacks took place, and so would not have been prevented from carrying out their attacks by any kind of travel ban covered by the handful of countries listed in the ban (if the various European countries had implemented a travel ban along the lines of Trump’s).

So, any future attack in the U.S. is just as likely if not more likely to be carried out by a U.S. citizen or a citizen of a country that is not on the travel ban list, such as Pakistan.

Trump isn’t capable of thought manipulation on that level. He is 100% straight from the gut, no cranial activity involved. His attention span is too short to understand plans of that complexity. His aides have to insert his name in their reports every couple of sentences to ensure he’ll read more than the title.

Yeah, but HE didn’t do it. A team of lawyers did it. And he’s actively undermining their work with his tweets. Why would he do that if he really wanted it to pass?

The lawyers themselves may want it to pass. As far as they’re concerned, their job is to write an executive order that’s constitutional, because that’s what the president ordered them to do. It’s not their motives I’m questioning here.

Did you read the part of my post where I said this?

Jack Goldsmith, Harvard Law professor, has a theory that Trump wants it to fail so that when an attack happens the judiciary will be easy to blame and they’ll put up less resistance to other things Trump wants to do that are of questionable legality.

I don’t consider this high-level manipulation. If this were actually what he was trying to set the country up for, it’d be pathetically transparent. I think this is a stupid person’s idea of a brilliant, ingenious plan. In other words, I wouldn’t put it past him at all.

Wow, I guess me and Jack Goldsmith are simpatico. Makes me feel smart to be on the same page as a Harvard Law professor.

Kellanne Conway says tweets don’t count. Yeah, the courts think otherwise.

Well, Trump signed the revised EO after previously tweeting that he essentially wasn’t backing down from the original, so he has at least some level of knowledge and cognition of events. And just like his previous racial comments concerning the Mexican-American judge in his Trump University case, his mouth/Twitter isn’t really subject to much of a strategy when it comes to legal matters. Lawyers can try to clean it up or adjust afterwards, but it overall appears unplanned for and very adhoc.

Whoops, sorry, I missed that part.

Indeed. The Trump talking heads have been reduced to the defence of:

“Just ignore what the president says - it’s just meaningless blather.”

Jesus, can we have one single day wherein loser president AnusFace doesn’t do or say something completely stupid?

Yeah, the whole world knows why you’re trying to undermine Sadiq Khan. It’s because you’re an elitist, racist fuckhole, you stupid worthless cunt.

Anusface has only replaced ONE of the 46 U.S Attorneys he fired THREE FUCKING MONTHS AGO. There is no head of FEMA. The State Department is in shambles.

Stop golfing. Stop tweeting like a little emo bitch. DO YOUR FUCKING JOB, you lazy, worthless, incompetent piece of shit.

I agree with your tone, and most of the substance. But I part company with the underlined part. The less he does, the better.

But it’s haaarrrd! And the press is so meeeeean! (shakes his tiny little fist)

Nobody tooold me it was going to be so haaaaaaard.

Oh, like maybe, institute martial law like his boy Duterte?

No.

I imagine the London and Las Vegas bookies have a line on this. I don’t know how to research it. Does anyone? The odds on DJT going one day without doing something completely stupid?
