Butt-Hurt Trump Takes to Twitter Again (Part 1)

I’m sure that Donnie would love to go out on the streets and start randomly shooting like his buddy Duterte, but that would involve … walking.

I’m actually grateful this place exists, just for blowing off steam. I try to go about my life and work, but every time I dare check the news, it’s just…Jesus Fucking Christ.

Procrustus is right, of course, the less he does the better, but you know…when it comes to emergency management and law administration, there are actual lives on the line. Not that the fat, old cunt cares.

I will never understand why the right-wing scum thought this was acceptable. This can never be forgiven.

No, no…I think you’re onto something here. I’ve wondered the same. I also see Steve Bannon’s fingerprints on these tweets as well.

I suspect that you’re right with respect to Trump himself, but I also get the sense that some of his aides are encouraging him. I could absolutely see Trump advocating a security state if something big happens in the future.

I don’t think he’s even done that. There appear to be only acting U.S. Attorneys in charge in all of the districts, since Trump went back on his pledge to Preet Bharara of the Southern District of NY to keep him on. Ron Rosenstein is a deputy AG and the few other DOJ appointees who have been nominated and confirmed are not at the U.S. Attorney level.

Indeed. Chump’s tweets reveal his personal, innermost feelings, motivations and intent. The courts are paying attention.

Apparently not. This morning, Traitor Trump doubled down on his shameful attack on the London mayor with this tweet:

“Pathetic excuse by London Mayor Sadiq Khan who had to think fast on his ‘no reason to be alarmed’ statement. MSM is working hard to sell it!”

CNN this morning rightly asked what the backlash would be had Tony Blair come out and criticized Rudy Giuliani in the immediate aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. Chump will never, ever act presidential, not if he lives to be 100.

Since many of the more knee jerk reactionary tweets seem to come very late at night or very early in the morning, it seems hard to imagine that Bannon is there by his side telling him what to type or planted a seed in Trump’s swampy brain that finally germinates hours later into something as angry but self-sabotagingly incoherent as many of the Tweets are. Trump and his cronies don’t seem like the type of people who want to win down the road (eventually) by initially failing in their plans.

I agree with the more-reasonable-every day analysis of Jennifer Rubin at WaPo:

Well, thank you. Now I have an image of Chump and Bannon spooning. I need some brain bleach.

Here’s another thing…vent, vent, rant, rant…how could they be so fucking unprepared?

If you took a semi-retarded fifth grader and told him that he was taking over managing a McDonalds tomorrow, he’d no doubt think: hey, I need supplies and workers. And a plan. Gee whiz.

But not Donald DumbFuck. Watching that Huckabee chick try to explain it all away would be hilarious, if it didn’t reek of incompetence and if it didn’t actually FUCKING MATTER.

It’s amazing that any of his penis monuments to himself got built. Oh wait, it’s not amazing, someone else did all the work. Can someone shove a binky in his mouth and take over command. I don’t know, Ivanka, mommy, anyone?

The “president” is obviously incapacitated. We need a 25th amendment solution.

I know I’m outnumbered, but I think that he does have enough brains to realise that his style works very well for him, and within a certain demographic, works to keep him popular. I’m not sure of the extent to which he could act more statesman like if he wanted to, but I do think he’s got it figured that he doesn’t necessarily need to. If you are moderately well informed, and understand long term issues and nuance, it’s easy to get all worked up over how idiotic his tweets are. If you’re not, they make a great deal of simple sense.

As HL Mencken said, “For every complex problem there is an answer that is clear, simple, and wrong”. And Trump excels (I’m not being sarcastic) at propounding that answer. I don’t think he’s got the brains to do this in a carefully thought through Machiavellian way. I do think he has the brains to have noticed that when he blurts out the “clear, simple” answer to complex problems, many people cheer and only some people notice it’s wrong.

Coffee spit!

Better than imagining them forking.

You’re welcome.

If it helps, just imagine that it’s always pre-coital spooning.

Dammit, ninja’d by running coach.

Sporking.

You’re welcome.

It’s not that Bannon’s there reviewing his tweets – I agree that they’re reflective of Trump’s emotional vicissitudes. But I think Bannon is the one guy in the room his winks and nods at Trump’s behavior and nudges him to do more. Beyond that I think Trump has a contempt for institutions, conventions, and the rule of law. Almost all of the shit that Trump has done from the day he harangued about Mexicans coming across the border has been deemed political and potentially even legal suicide – and yet here he is. He knows his audience and he speaks to it directly.

Trump’s whining that the Democrats (who apparently control the Senate, if you believe Orange Chimp) are obstructing his ambassadorial nominees. Um, he hasn’t nominated any ambassadors.,

I’m not on the same page with the two of you, but I’m awfully close: my theory isn’t that he wants it to fail so they’ll put up less resistance to other things when an attack then happens and they get blamed; my theory is, the “when an attack then happens and they get blamed” part is the entirety of Trump’s plan.

If his ban gets struck down, and an attack happens, Trump can angrily say “hey, you all remember that ban I declared – the one the liberals protested against, the one that got barred by the courts? I did my job perfectly; blame them.” And that’s it; he doesn’t want them to then put up less resistance, because he wants to point at that resistance whenever something goes wrong; he just wants a narrative where every decision he makes is good, and everything bad that happens is someone else’s fault.

Okay, I’m not sure which Trump thread this fits into exactly, but have y’all seen the Pictures of Trump Fighting ISIS?

Dumbass Donny just keeps shooting his legal team in the foot;
That’s right, we need a TRAVEL BAN for certain DANGEROUS countries, not some politically correct term that won’t help us protect our people!
Just wait until he sees his own Tweets getting brought before the Supreme Court as evidence against him.

Hard to believe he’s the healthiest president ever

I haven’t been following along closely but how does this shoot his legal team in the foot? I thought that the problem with his TRAVEL BAN was that it was transparently a ban on Muslim countries which breached anti-discrimination laws. I thought that if it was a ban (instead) on people from DANGEROUS countries, then there would be no issue.
