Gee, that’s deep. It’s pitched at about the intellectual level as “Nanny nanny boo boo!”

To be fair that is higher than 90% of his previous comments.

It goes back to their old complaint about the leaker, not the deed being leaked. Reminds me of that scene in Chicago where the DA suddenly introduces Roxy Hart’s diary as evidence.
Billy Flynn: I object! My client has never held a diary! And even if she did, this would be… invasion of privacy, and violation of the fourth amendment, and… and illegal search without a warrant!
Roxie Hart: Yeah, AND she broke the lock!
The approved spin has been formulated. “Comey’s testimony vindicated Trump” and “Comey confirmed Trump was not under investigation, just as Trump said”. Ask a Trump supporter about Comey’s testimony in a week’s time and this is all they will “know”.
I thought the spin is “Comey lied, and in the process of lying, totally vindicated President Stubby Fingers!”
He still has his base of support but even the most committed of his brownshirts have to be on the verge of losing their religion now.
Don’t count on it.
Would Trump be paying his own legal bills anyway, given that the investigation would be against him in his capacity as Pres?
According to lawyers he’s hired in the past, he doesn’t pay them either.

Lawyers are encouraged to do pro bono work.
When society confers the privilege to practice law on an individual, he or she accepts the responsibility to promote justice and to make justice equally accessible to all people. Thus, all lawyers should aspire to render some legal services without fee or expectation of fee for the good of the public.
[I used a Latin legal term. Bricker will be so proud.)

Picture an alternate reality with HRC in the White House. Two months into her term, with the investigation into her email server draggin on, Clinton fires Comey. In his testimony on Capitol Hill, Comey states that Hillary told that she hoped he could put the investigation to bed as it was stalling her legislative agenda.
I’d love to tune into Fox news in that world.

At least 3 law firms have sued him for non payment. I thought lawyers were supposed to have a minimal of intelligence.
“Eric Trump also called the recently elected Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez a “total whackjob,” then decried the increase in name-calling.”
And little Eric’s opinions matter…
because …
Throw me a bone here.
WHY does it matter?
He’s just another stupid spoiled little bitch, just like his daddy.
Oh, the kids’ opinions matter quite a bit.
Especially when, as he did last night, Don-Don throws his father under a bus by inadvertently confirming Comey’s testimony.
“I believe the James Comey leaks will be far more prevalent than anyone ever thought possible.” - DJT
I don’t know what this sentence means. “Will be far more prevalent” implies that he expects Comey to leak more in the future.
Did he mean “far more relevant”? Did he mean “were far more prevalent”?

I wonder if he’s trying to say that he believes Comey will be found to have been the source of many previous leaks.
In any case, he’s still focused on leaks when Mueller and the Intel Committee are interested in collusion with the Russians and whether Trump obstructed the FBI. But, yeah, leaks. That’s the real story.

Maybe, but then you would write “were much more prevalent”. I guess expecting proper sentence structure is too much to ask for from him.

Not if they weren’t actually more prevalent at the time, but will turn out to have been next week once everybody gets their alternative facts straight.
More seriously, this habit of Trump et al’s of teasing future action like it’s the next episode of some dumb reality show drives me bananas. “You won’t believe my secret ISIS plan/my tax plan/what I’m going to tell you about the tapes!” Well then go ahead and blow my mind right now, motherfucker, we all have shit to do.

Yeah, this is so annoying… the way he wants to create suspense for his big reveal. He seems to think he’s still on a reality TV show.

I honestly believe the more likely answer is that he meant “relevant” but got the word wrong.

That’s a good guess I think. But even with “relevant” in place of “prevalent”, it still doesn’t make a hell of a lot of sense. Is he saying something like “people will soon realize why the Comey leaks are the real story”?
It would probably have been clearer if he’d said the links would turn out to be covfefe.
Calling Comey “cowardly”?? What a filthy, disgusting, chicken-shit individual we have for President. My God, this behavior would be unacceptable from a 12-year old (even if, perhaps more understandable). There isn’t one thing about Trump to admire or even like.
