After asking around about ways to make a few bucks quickly, several people told me that there are medical organizations that will pay for plasma or sperm.
How much could I expect from either of these? And how do I go about locating them?
The plasma places (the one near here, anyway) pay up to $50 a week, for a theoretical total of $2600/year. Look in the phone book in the nearest fair-sized city.
Once you find one, you can do what a guy I knew in college did: sell your plasma, then take the $25 and spend half on beer and half on the most expensive ($5, at the time) scratch-off lottery tickets (they have better odds than the dollar ones, y’see).
And man, when you’re done selling that plasma, you’ll be amazed and overjoyed and just how cheap you can drink. It’s sort of like a second compensation.
In some circles, there’s a black market in drug-free urine. The buyer (I’m told) hangs a condom or Ziploc of urine inside his/her clothing, and at drug-test time, the container is pierced to deliver a clean sample. Some test routines can beat this fix.
