Well, fuck. I entertained for a moment that it might be about her deciding to leave the board to move on with her life, but I had that feeling in my stomach that told me that wasn’t it.
I am sorry to see her go, and my thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends. Especially her son.
That’s awful, she will definitely be missed. Poor Dominic.

I am saddened to hear of Opal’s loss. I met her once or twice at Dopefests, and she was a vibrant, complex woman. I wish her family the best of love and support.
OK, I got to the site. I didn’t see anything that made it super-obvious, but knowing Opal’s history here I’m assuming she took her own life?

I never knew her, but she always stuck out in my memories of posters, which few manage to do.
