Since I know nothing about the school, I can’t and won’t insult it. But it isn’t exactly a football powerhouse! My alma mater, Columbia, didn’t win a single football game while I was there! If a bunch of the Columbia Lions players had tried to throw their weight around on campus, while yelling “Football Strong,” most people would have laughed at them.
Those five athletes HAD to know they’re no the cream of the athletic crop, and that the Arena League won’t be calling, much less the NFL. IF they had scholarships, this was their chance to get a halfway decent education, and nothing more.
They’ve just thrown that away for a chance to act like goons. Nice.
Per the second article, this is the second incident of one of their players getting into an off-campus fight this month. I wonder if there have been other recent fights that have not made the news.
