Calendar for Windows 7 with alarms?

Is there a decent calendar for windows 7? One that allows me to:

[li]enter appointments[/li][li]set alarms[/li][li]work offline[/li][li]set up recurring notices like birthdays[/li][/ul]

Preferably I’d like a gadget or freeware app but I’d be willing to pay a reasonable fee.

Nevermind. I missed the “work offline” requirement.

The Windows Live suite includes Live Mail, which has a calendar that will do what you want. It’s a freebie from live.com.

Office Outlook does that just fine. *If *you already have Office.

Not surprisingly, Live Mail 2011 looks like Outlook to some extent (they’re both Microsoft products, after all). I have Outlook on PC, but use Live Mail for my personal accounts and keep Outlook just for work.

Can I work offline with live?
