Callers that were probably spam

Any strange/unlikely company or people names try to get ahold of you lately?
My phone just blocked a call from “Goldsby Elexia”, and a week ago “Computer Company” attempted to reach me.

What have you got?

I’ve had 3 calls in the last 2 days, but my phone warns telemarketer and spam risk on them. The telemarketer was political, they left a message the second time. Today is our primaries.

Yeah, all my phone/text spams lately have been political – primary day today. Glad it’s almost over.

There are 2 types I get most often:
1 - “We’re reviewing your loan application and just need to confirm a few things…” Calls 3-4 times a day, always from a different number. The name changes up on a weekly basis. Needless to say, I haven’t applied for any loans.
2 - Prisma Health. Calls me 3 times a week and never leaves a message.

The loan scam calls have gotten so bad that I’ve resorted to sending all unknown callers to voicemail. I report them as spam, but they call back with new numbers and always leave a voicemail. Both have been a steady pattern for like 6 months. Prisma Health (I looked it up and it’s a medical company in SC - I’ve never been to SC) at least uses the same number every time and just gets filtered as spam, but they never leave a message so I don’t know about it until I clean out my call list (which I have to do at least weekly now).

A gentle reminder-I am not asking whether you get spam and/or what nature it might be. I am asking about unusual personal or company names from callers, successful or otherwise, that make you think “Well, that name is spammier than that Monty Python diner skit!”

A single bump.

Not terribly unusual (or original), but The Medicare Group thinks that I’m a likely candidate for something.

Although there are several organizations called “The Medicare Group”, I don’t think any of the are based in or concern themselves with the U.S. or its citizens. Sounds fakity fake to me.

This one is based in New Jersey. Doubtful if they’d be calling me in Kansas. But somebody is.

In that case, this one doesn’t fall into the category of “Name so bad it is obviously spam”. Please see the actual examples I gave in the OP. Two examples from today’s blocked phonecalls: Parady Kathle, and Christop Foster.

Not a phone call but this one fits your other criteria:

I pretty much never answer landline calls from numbers I don’t recognize. But a few weeks ago, I saw one from “US Postal Service”. And decided to pick it up. After a pause, a woman with a non-US accent asked if I was interested in selling my house. I assumed it was a scam, where they would be asking for some ‘advance fee’. So I said no and hung up.
