I’m not sure how many of you are planning on attending SLO dopefest, but Strainger and I are going. We are driving (from Phoenix) and have made decided to stop in LA Friday night and drive up to SLO in the morning.
That means this would be a perfect opportunity for a quick LA dopefest Friday night (July 20th) if anyone is up for it?
I forgot to add that we would be getting in to LA around 8-9pm.

Scotticher is flying into L.A. Friday afternoon and staying with me. We haven’t decided yet if we’re going to drive to SLO that night or the next morning, but if we decide to go up in the morning, then (and I’m pretty sure I can speak for her) we’d love to get together with you Friday night.
Do you and Strainger have a place to stay? If we go up on Saturday morning, you guys are welcome to camp at my place. I have an air mattress and a couch people can sleep on. Let me know.

Well, I haven’t had a chance to speak with Cheri yet today, but as of last night she didn’t mind waiting until the morning to head up there. The only reason I was considering leaving Friday evening instead, is because I wasn’t sure we’d be able to find any of the other Dopers if we showed up at some random time on Saturday, since it might be pretty hard to commit to where they will be and when at any point during the day. But…
If you, me, Merc (who may be riding with Cheri and me), Cheri and Strainger are all together when we get there, even if we can’t hook up with the rest of the group until the evening, we’ll at least be able to hang with each other during the day.
That sounds like a plan.
