I haven’t talked to any of the other Phoenix Dopers who were planning on flying to L.A. in October but what is the concensus? I feel we should still go unless we are prevented but others may not agree.
Well, I’m flying pretty much cross-country on Friday. I’m not at all calm about it, but I’m doing it. If I can do that, I can fly to LA. I’m prepared to still go.

What’s in LA next month, Padeye?
Since I wasn’t planning on going in the first place, this isn’t a surprise. But I just managed to get home from New York late last night (yes, I had the appalling luck to be there at the time) and I’m not too eager to go anyplace else for a while.
Strainger, Mauvaise and myself are going to the LA fest the weekend of the 20th. The more the merrier all things considered.
Of course I’m still up for it. If anything prevents us from flying, I say let’s drive. I’m hoping our European friends don’t have any trouble getting there.
