As it turned out, my GF was able to take the day off yesterday, and we were able to spend some time together. That’s why you haven´t heard anything from yours truely yet, know what I mean, wink wink, nudge nudge, say no more!
She just left for work, and I´m here abusing her computer. So, it´s almost half past 1, I haven´t had a bite to eat yet, and I need to be at LHR at about 7:30 tonight. Which means there´s bloddy little time left to meet up with some dopers. But I´ll keep eyeing this thread just in case someone comes up with a solution - FWIW, I´m near Notting Hill Gate now.
Sorry, Coldy, I was in London this weekend but never got to your post in time to find out you were there.
However, since I was visiting the city with my mum, who’s in the UK for the only time this year, I don’t think I would have had much time. Also, I managed to pick up a stomach bug and I’ve been sick all weekend anyway.
