What they should have done was to shoot two or three iterations of Joe Millionaire simultaneously. Yes, it would have tripled the risk on a show they didn’t know would succeed, but
- Reality shows don’t cost much anyway, and so aren’t much of a gamble, and
b) that way they could be sure later contestants hadn’t been spoiled.
on behalf of actors and actresses everywhere, can you please not refer to reality game show participants as such? 
Notice he said “wannabe” actors and actresses. Some of these people think that being on a reality TV show is going to jump start their movie career.

Betcha this one will be a “rich” girl being courted by guys. Or maybe fool everyone into thinking the “rich” person is poor, when really they actually are rich.
Is Paul Hogan married? Maybe that’s the switch – the butler ends up with the girl.
It makes me sad that this survives and “Andy Richter Controls the Universe” does not.
