I still follow her into the bedroom to watch her undress. Pepper Mil can corroborate this.

Anymore she turns around and says “then make yourself useful”, indicating that I should undo the bra fastenings. (with me often saying that all my liufe I’ve been waiting for a woman to do exactly this).
I have learned that the correct action, after undoing the bra, is to not follow my instincts, but to scratch under the bra band. If I then rub the small of her back, she dissolves.

Our meeting was pretty much as Cal said. My sister Carol and I did wonder a little bit as to how long it was going to take for Cal to get back with the cake, (It was about 45 minutes) but it was a huge crowd of people so I’m kind of surprised it was only that long.
We did keep on meeting each other and when we were talking I realized how smart and funny he was. (At least compared to all the other guys I dated who where either smart or funny but not both) I made sure I kissed him good bye so he would remember me. I knew I wanted to marry him by November when I got on the train in Boston to go back to NJ and started to cry a little.
It doesn’t feel like 25 years. Cal still makes me laugh and gets me thinking.
That’s my side and I’m sticking to it.

That’s great, Pepper. You two have something that some people never find. I hope it lasts many more years.

Another 39 years and you’ll match my parents. They celebrated their 64th anniversary three months ago!

What a great story, Cal. People make jokes about sf nerds, but it’s a big community of both sexes.

My wife and I also met through SF, and were at Noreascon III. Wonder if we ever bumped into you.
